As a teacher, I tend to get constantly sick in the fall and winter, and it seems I’m always stuffed up and feeling terrible this time of year. I swear by this stuff though! Easy to use, comfortable to use, and it always helps clear out that painful congestion and temporarily relieve the nasal swelling that comes with an upper respiratory infection or sinus infection. Even though I have to use this multiple times a day to really feel less-than-terrible, it really does work to relieve symptoms and clear out infection faster. I’ve been sick pretty much nonstop for 13-14 weeks now, and this sinus rinse is the only thing keeping me sane and somewhat comfortable while I continue to battle all the colds going around school.

Besides possible defects, solutions with salt and distilled water packets can work for some and others. Each person's body is different. It also takes some time for many people to get used to squeezing water up your nose. If this doesn't work for you and you can't return it, please consider asking friends or families if they can use it. It's not only a waste of resources and money but it's good old fashioned friendliness.I personally used this for manh years but then found Xlear nasal spray that may help those of you who weren't able to use nasal rinses. But I am reconsidering the use of Xlear after finding out about sugar alcohols that it has. I may go back to this NeilMed or use a combination.Whatever you decide works for you, keep trying to find something to ... MoreBesides possible defects, solutions with salt and distilled water packets can work for some and others. For those who suffer from allergies and sinus congestion, the sinus rinse kit is an essential item. Much-needed relief is provided by its mild saline solution, which effectively clears nasal passages. The procedure is hassle-free thanks to the kit's pre-measured packets and simple squeeze bottle. By using the sinus rinse kit on a regular basis, you can enhance sinus health, reduce symptoms, and breathe easier. It's a straightforward but efficient remedy for sinus problems.

About 5 years ago Kaiser told me I had mild sleep apnea. The first recommendation by the sleep clinic facilitator was the nasal rinse kit. The first night I tried it, I knew I had found help for my night breathing, relief for my regularly stuffed nasal passages—allergies to dust, etc adding to the condition. One of the dramatic reminders of how carefully the product is formulated comes with forgetting somehow to add the packet contents into the spray bottle and get plain warm water up your nose—shocking to the nasal passages and entire system.I am thankful for this and other products from CVS that make life easier and more happily manageable
One of the medications I now have to take has created postnasal drip and other sinus challenges, so I wanted something natural to combat these unwanted conditions. I've only used it two times so far, and while I can't yet tell much of a difference yet, I feel like it will be helpful in time. I don't have any of the sterilized water they instruct to use, so I boil what I need. Takes some preparation/planning, it is an odd but not intolerable sensation to do the rinsining, and with 50 packets, I'm pleased with the value. This brand was in the top recommendations outside of this website, as well as being highly rated here, so I feel good about that, too.
If you feel a cold coming on or it is allergy season this stuff is amazing.I found it late one night on a trip. I ran to a Walmart looking for something to head off what felt like a cold coming on. My trip was feeling like I was going to end up in one of those Urgent care places getting an antibiotic. UghI started rinsing about Midnight. I rinsed at least 4 times between then and when I had to get up for my event. With antihistamine, ibuprofen, and Therabreath mints on board. It did the trick! My weekend was saved.I never travel without it now. I also do not leave without all my meds and I wash those plastic filters on AC units in Hotel rooms. Pull one dirty one out and you will too.Your breathing other peoples dirt lol
Used this product after i had Septoplasty, Sinsusplasty %26Turbine reduction..Works Great! to address a few of the negative comments 1 person was upser bc it didnt cime with the bottle.. That is a Buyer issue, read the add this is for the packets only . you could have bought the set that was the bottle and packets for $3 more LOL another person complaines saying its "just salt water' AGAIN do your due dilegence as a consumer and READ the box.. its not just salt, its also pharmaceutical grade sodium bicarbonate(baking soda). there are diff kinds of sodium if u want to pour iodized table salt up your nose have at it but dont knock a great product when your gripe is incorrect anyways lol
My allergy doctor recommended this to me. All you need is to add a packet to the bottle, then add boiled water. It takes a little while to master how to use this sinus rinse kit, but once you did, its such a great relief!I have bad allergies and sometimes I need to use 2 packets. If you are allergic to pollen this is your best friend. They also sell the prediluted bottles but thats more expensive. Just make sure you clean the bottle and dry well after each use. Its a hassle but that's the best in the market so far. There's another product they offer that looks like a tea pot. I haven't tried that one yet because it looks more difficult to use.I found one similar product when I travelled to Japan. That one is great but I can't find it in US. That one has a minty scent. Niel Med has no scent. I think Niel Med is the best option you can find in US, Consistent quality.
Almost all other pharmaceuticals and health were placed on clearly labeled shelves. These items were in a section for cold medicines that had outdoor summer furniture and toys on the very top shelf. It had no discernible label that I could see. I walked the aisles near the pharmacy 3 times, thinking I had missed it. It was opposite all those shelves, and I found it by walking over the whole store (not convenient for a handicapped senior citizen like me. I would have asked for help, but all employees looked very busy. That is, of course, good for the store. Perhaps hire more employees for busy times?
excellent multi pack of this sinus rinse. my husband had a lot of sinus issues due to a couple broken noses from hockey in his youth. this has led to infections or just constantly being stuffed. his dr suggested this as a help to his issues. he is religious about doing these rinses and it has made a huge difference for him. he travels frequently and these little packets and plastic bottles make it easy for him to continue using pretty much where ever he is. i liked that there were 2 bottles in this pack. last time he was home, i made a little travel bag with it and packets to put in his back pack so he always has it with him.
