I did a lot of research to decide what was the best mattress for me and my lady, tested sizes in stores and what have you. We are both 6ft tall, so the tall wide was perfect. Regulars seem just a little too little for us.What I've yet to see in the photos is that this actually tappers in depth from the head/pillow to the foot. Where the head is a little thicker, the foot gets thinner. Personally, I love this. It's probably a 1 degree or less incline which seems to also help with my snoring.The pressure valve helps a great deal to find the ideal resistance for our side sleeping and being thicker at the head allows for a greater depth for my should to fall into.We took these out to Temagami this late September and it got down to 3°C at night and I didn't notice any ... My old Thermorest had a cover with lightly rubberised straps that prevented the mattress itself from shifting and the fabric was just grippy enough to prevent my sleeping bag from traveling. Unfortunately, I will have to seek out a creative or third party solution to this problem. Otherwise, 5-star product, hand down.

Purchased this pad as my 2nd inflatable sleeping pad after discovering that my 1st 1” pad was too thin for sleeping comfortably on my side.Honestly, the 3.5” thickness is overkill and I do not need it. I’m an active sleeper and it’s actually jarring to have your arm or leg fall off the edge in the middle of the night… which I do a lot. I’m still trying to find the perfect level of deflation to cradle myself in the middle of the pad to prevent this.I use it along with a CCF pad for extra insulation and protection, but can be used on it own. I was in the market for something a little more "luxurious" for car camping that wasn't a fully blown air mattress, but would be more comfy than an ultralight pad that was 4" wide and 3' long.So I took a shot at this. Great so far! I have only used this for one trip so far, but I had a great night's sleep. I previously used a thin Thermarest pad and I never slept well. This pad is not only lighter and packs smaller for backpacking but is also much, much more comfortable than my last pad.I love the double valve and the pump sac, so you don't have to use your mouth and risk getting moisture in your pad. I also like that the headrest is slightly elevated for further comfort, combined with the Nemo Fillo pillow which is very nice for a side-sleeper like myself.All in all, this was a great purchase and I am excited to get back out there!
It is really actually hard to review this as I haven't tested it out in the elements, but have used it in a sterile environment at my house. It is easy to inflate with the included pump sack, and comfortable for the generally short time I lay down on it. The scooped design with it tapering from head to toe makes this a very comfortable pad. I have had back issues since my mid 20's (I'm 38 now) from a shattered pelvis over 10 years ago. Because of this, my back constantly hurts and it's hard to sleep. This pad is almost as comfortable as my bed at home. Regarding the shipping, it arrived quickly and packaged well. Overall, I'm impressed with this pad, but this is based on a limited time using it.
I recently used this pad for the first time on a trip to southern Utah. I think this pad has a trade off of comfort versus ease of use. For me it was a bit of a pain to set up. The flat style dual valves are hard to pull out- felt like I was going to break/tear something. The vortex inflation sack is great but a bit time consuming and I needed to be in my tent with the pad lying down in the floor to inflate so as not to get sand all over it. My friend stood and blew hers up in moments while I had to sit and push air into this one. Again the valves- were so tight I just slept with the vortex sac attached at the corner and when we changed camp sites, I just rolled it up with the pad. I will say the comfort was great! Don’t expect utter silence, but it is significantly quieter than other ultralight air pads I’ve had.-the material is quite soft on your skin, and I’d be happy sleeping on it without a pillow, but this soft material also seems difficult to clean and prone to absorbing things like oils. Over time I’m curious how dirty this top fabric might get; for now I make sure to use a pillow or cover the head baffles with a camping towel.-I purchased the WIDE version of this pad, and I’m glad I did (it’s so roomy!), but note that most “2-person” backpacking tents will NOT accommodate two wide pads. Prepare to feel like terrible sleeping partner when you realize your mat takes up 70% of the tent floor space.
