Just because this release doesn't have the original English Dub and the original end song in the credits doesn't make it a bad release.First of all. I honestly think the original dub is quite flawed, sure the Netflix dub included here has some mistranslations, but they are easy to dismiss if you actually want to look into the differences, they don't catastrophically change the plot. The Netflix dub IMO is kind if superior anyway, especially in The End of Evangelion as all side characters and extras voices don't sound overly cartoony and exaggerated, the Netflix dub actually fixes some problems from that film. And the no "Fly Me to the Moon" controversy, while understandable is also nonsense, it was at the end credits of each episode, why would anyone care about a ... MoreJust because this release doesn't have the original English Dub and the original end song in the credits doesn't make it a bad release.First of all. Sure the song is a classic but I wouldn't waste my time complaining about something that has no bearing on the actual plot of the show. And if people have such a problem with this than just buy the Collectors edition somewhere else, which includes the original Japanese version and the Original English dub, and yes... Fly me to the Moon.NOW FOR THE ACTUAL BLU-RAY SET REVIEW.The new HD scan is beautiful (with the exception of the episode where the original film prints were lost). The Soundtrack is great too and I it includes the same special features as the other sets. The special features themselves are quite interesting and a great edition. The box artwork is also stunning, with a reversible simplistic cover on the inside. This set also includes my favourite movie of all time "The End of Evangelion", which is honestly my favourite part of this set. It also includes "Evangelion: Death (True)²", a fast paced film which just recaps the show but misses details, luckily the whole show is included which is obviously recommended instead of this.Overall, this is probably my favourite blu-ray I own now. And if you don't like it because it doesn't include the original dub and Fly me to the moon, find the "Neon Genesis Evangelion: The Complete Series - Collectors Edition" instead, it's not available on this site anymore but I'm sure it's available elsewhere.

Do some research. This has changed music (NO "Fly Me To The Moon"), Netflix's new poor effort of a dub, episode 16 looks probably the worst it's ever been.

If you are a fan of the original English version of NGE then this isn’t for you. It’s the Netflix dub version of the series that doesn’t even have the the proper end music for the show.
I was surprised to find out that this collection includes both the original Anime, the Recap movie and the End of Evangelion, great value for the price!
The transition to bluray doesn't destroy the quality of the anime, it looks great on a 4k 32 inch screen and it's got so many extra features. It has the Japanese and Netflix English dub, both sets of subtitles and both stereo and enhanced sound. It's perfect if you want a good collection of Evangelion without having to buy seperate dvds.
if you want to get this dvd set be very VERY careful with it.for some reason it seems like the manufactuers have used the cheapest disc or they are using some crappy niche encryption that most players do not have.some times these discs dont work even when they are pistine condition. i dont blame JBHIFI for this. this is a manufactuer issue but it has happened to me almost twice.when i got mine initially some of disc just flat out didnt work at all. and the ones that did would brick when i put them in my computer tower's blu ray optical drive and wouldnt work on my playstation or blu ray playeri got a replacement which kudos to jbhifi for honoring the consumer law. they all worked when i put them in my ps4 but when i put one in my computer. it bricked itself ... Moreif you want to get this dvd set be very VERY careful with it.for some reason it seems like the manufactuers have used the cheapest disc or they are using some crappy niche encryption that most players do not have.some times these discs dont work even when they are pistine condition. i dont blame JBHIFI for this. this is a manufactuer issue but it has happened to me almost twice.when i got mine initially some of disc just flat out didnt work at all. and the ones that did would brick when i put them in my computer tower's blu ray optical drive and wouldnt work on my playstation or blu ray playeri got a replacement which kudos to jbhifi for honoring the consumer law. they all worked when i put them in my ps4 but when i put one in my computer. it bricked itself and now it cant be played on the ps4. it did once after i updated the ps4 firmware with the disc inside but not after that point. i havent put that disc in a blue ray player so maybe it might be ok but...the point is that these disc are so weird and fragile that if you get them make sure you dont put them in your computer, have the latest players and firmware or something because you might also have trouble with it. or maybe im just very unlucky thats also a possiblity. otherwise good show.
