Neostrata Skin Active Repair Cellular Restoration 50g

This product is part of the Skin Active range. An anti-ageing range formulated with active ingredients like Retinol, Aminofil, NeoGlucosamine and Polyhydroxy Acid. The Cellular Restoration Concentrate is an intense moisturiser perfect the night time. It's not very clear to indicate that this is to be used at night but according to the ingredients I would say it is better for evening. I love the texture and consistency of this product. With the combination of using other products in the range I found my skin texture and appearance improved quite a bit. Skin looks soft, supple and smoother. I love that it doesn't have the high-end price tag attached as I think this works just as good if not better than high end skincare.

I've been using this cream in my nightly routine for two weeks now and so far am loving how it's making my skin feel and look. Fine lines are starting to soften and my skin is looking a little brighter. I've only been using this on my face as I've got the neck cream also so don't want to overdo it. I really like the packaging and it's so easy to disperse the right amount from the pump provided. Because I use this at night I do make sure I wear sunscreen the next day. This range can be found at Priceline and Chemist Warehouse and even at full price I think it's pretty reasonably priced. This formula is so nice and smooth. It glides on effortlessly and absorbed instantly. The product also comes in a handy tube with a pump so it dispenses the perfect amount of product for each application. When I first used it the smell is so overpowering. Now after 2 weeks it has grown on me and I'm not bothered by it. However I'm still not a fan of the smell. Despite the smooth formula, this moisturizer tends to pile on me under my foundation (I use luminous silk by Armani but Ive tried other brands too also same). I think I've also developed some allergy to it as my face tends to get all itchy and hives. (I have this question on my List of Jobs, and will advise once I've got an answer). So I've been using the product daily and I'm not hooked but I don't dislike the product. I haven't really noticed any change in my skins appearance, but it could also be the fact that, Yes I do look at my face a number of times per day and that makes it harder to notice changes in my face unless it's a drastic change. I do like to piece my words together and from "Cellular", I get the impression it's got to do with regeneration and restoration, which if you have learnt anything about "Cellular", it is a process that does take time to generate and restore. I like the look and feel of the product, smells ok, and doesn't leave any sticky, or greasy residues. If the price was in my fortnightly budget

It comes out as a white creme and I haven't noticed any fragrance. The directions are to use it on your face and neck once a day after cleansing. For the first week, because this is a new brand and product to me, I used it every second day. I have just started using it daily about 3 days ago and my skin hasn't had any reaction to it. This has AHA in it and on the box and tube it reminds us to be sunsafe as this can increase our skins sensitivity to the sun. I only need a small amount of this for my face and neck/chest area. It goes on nicely and leaves my skin feeling much smoother. I used this in place of an Estee Lauder moisturiser and so far, am happy with it. My skin absorbs it well though it probably takes about 10 minutes to be completely absorbed. The 3rd photo is directly after applying it and the 4th is approximately 10 minutes later. My skin feels incredibly smooth after applying this which is wonderful. I am interested to see what my skin will be like after using this for a month. So far, I am happy with this and would buy it myself after my one runs out.

I have only just started using this but find it be hydrating for my dry skin. I’ve noticed an improvement in the firmness of my skin. I have been using this in conjunction with other products in the Skin Active range and am very impressed with the health of my skin from using the range. As someone who uses a lot of ‘actives’ such as vitamin C Retinol, I’ve always steered clear of glycolic acid as it tends to react badly on my skin - so admittedly I was a little cautious when trialling this product. However, I went slowly - only applying every second night paying attention to my skin on the in between days by adding loads of moisture. After first application you do feel a little tingle, so I added just a touch of moisturiser over the top, which seemed to be the perfect combination because I’ve now been using this for over a week (3 applications) and my skin hasn’t had a reaction - and in fact feels so baby smooth exfoliated. Consistency is a gel like substance which spreads very easily, I avoid the eye and upper lip area though. I cannot stress enough though to use SPF on the treated areas during the day, as your skin will be super sensitive to the sun! Overall this feels and performs like a high end product. To be honest, at first I was reluctant to like this one, but it’s impressed me now I’m going to keep it on my roster. Great results.
