Elite 2.0 is an awful series. It has low production quality with plastic springs, solvent welding and all the products are very fragile. Instead, I would recommend the Firestrike if you can still get this. The only thing that can be done to get rid of Elite 2.0 is to leave bad reviews and to not buy these products. Not only are they money making designed, they are direct reskins of other blasters. This is a reskin of the Firestrike. With the Firestrike, you can open it to either fix any problems or modify it but here all of the bad qualities cannot be fixed.

After receiving the nerf elite 2.0 through the post I was excited myself to try it out aswel as my 9 year old and 3 year old! My 9 year old found it easy to load the foam blasters and pull the trigger back. We had fun blasting at some safe targets we set up on a table (plastic cups in a row) in the living room and was surprised at how far they shot out!The only downside was, to use the light, we found it needed to be quite dark in the room to see where the light beam was. I Didn't think it was really necessary to have a light but still had fun!Look forward to trying it out in the garden!

I bought this Nerf 2.0 volt sd-1 blaster to my son who is 3+ as a gift. He enjoys using this. I was really pleased to find out if be chosen to test this. My daughter had a nerf gun a few years ago but it was kind of forgotten about. As soon as I took this out of the packaging she had grabbed it and was away! We were both surprised at how far the bullets went. The cat loved it too a he went off chasing the bullets! The added light was good too and also helped me know when I was about to be shot - unfortunately I was the target far too often!Overall my daughter has loved playing with this. The only slight downside is that it only holds two bullets but it is the smaller version so is understandable. Great fun for all ages.

In the whole the gun was light in weight and bullets were easy to install. The two bullet storage in the grip of the gun was also very handy according to my son. However the battery installation to power the laser light was a huge problem. First off there was no instructions as to where to place the batteries. After much searching of the internet we found it had to go in the underneath of the gun where accessories can be added. We then had to use a screwdriver to get this off, a child cannot manage this, it was very awkward and to be honest if we hadn’t been reviewing the product, I might have given up at that point. We got this nerf gun for our kids. It was a good price and thought we would try out a small nerf gun to see if they enjoyed playing with them. This thing works great and shoots FAR. We like to set up targets for them to see who can get the closest. It’s brought great entertainment for our kids.
Picked up several different Nerf guns for the kids and husband. This one was for my 10 year old daughter. We did have to put two batteries in it, I think AAA. You have to slide the front trigger up or down to turn on and off. Even I like using the red target site. They are fun for the whole family.
My son enjoyed playing with this nerf toy. He has played with these toys but different designs. He was happy that it fired the bullet quite far. He did comment on the laser light not being bright enough though. The loading and firing were simple and done at ease. Found the switch for laser light eventually. Overall he said it was fun to play with.
Picked these up for my 5 and 7 year old even though I was worried the smaller size might make them seem less exciting - turns out they’re actually a huge hit! They shoot far and accurately, are easy to operate… and the laser feature especially makes it so fun! The kids love them! Even my 2 year old daughter likes walking around pointing the laser at stuff. Turn down the lights at night and enjoy a good nerf war!
Wow! What can I say? Nerf have done it again and this didn’t disappoint. My son love, love, loves this new Nerf gun! It is lightweight but powerful. The foam bullets fly out…and at a decent distance. They can certainly reach the end of my garden and over into the neighbours behind us! The Nerf gun itself is safe for children to use and has given hours of fun outdoors this past week. Lots of shrieking and laughter heard while using this. The foam bullets are great and don’t cause any injuries.The only downside is that I keep finding foam bullets around the garden, but it gets my son outside and off a screen, so I am more than happy. We are getting another so his friends can come round and they can shoot each other!
