The only blight I have with it so far is that the pump was jammed when I first got it for a reason I wasn't quite able to figure out. And I'm afraid I have no idea what I did to unjam it, but it seemed like it was an intended by design lock, just don't know how I unlocked it. Other then that it's a beautiful nerf gun, it's one of the most powerful I've ever shot. Made me smirk when I first shot it. Doesn't jam or crush the bullet, it slides in nicely. Even if you drop it directly into the chamber without using the mag (provided you get it to fall in right.) So far very reliable and powerful, I hope it keeps it's power.

Utterly useless...So disappointing to see that this is not an isolated occurrence with this toy. The bullets were jamming in the spout at first and my son could not remove the magazine clip, I tried and after several attempts was able to release it and I can see that the internal release mechanism is not retracting enough to release the clip - badly designed. The magazine is stuck again and will not release the empty magazine clip despite many attempts. My son was so disappointed on Christmas morning its just not on.

Got this item as a gift for my grandson. I can't speak to its durability as he's only had it a short time. It did shoot far and with some force so maybe a little much for younger children. My grandson is 13. Since it does have some force , some eye protection would be a good idea.
The clip jams. Not a rare occurrence scrolling through the reviews. Really frustrating for 8 year old trying to explain why the expensive new toy has a defective design and why it has to go back to the shop. Amazing that this rubbish is being sold. There is clearly a design issue based on YouTube and product reviews.
It constantly jams the bullets in the barrel. It did it in the first day using it and broke. I got a replacement a few days ago and that has now started to jam. Apparently there is a different design rampage gun but the one with the side clip seems to have a design fault.
I bought this for my oldest son as a gift for the holidays and he hasn't put it down yet. I armed my other child similarly and these guns have gotten a real workout. I imagine over a thousand rounds have gone through this toy since day one and aside from a few jams (which were cleared easily) there have been no problems.I like the construction of these toys from NERF. As quality slides on other products this stands out as a real value. The price paid was very reasonable and the ammo packs are a bargain as well.The slam fire feature is nice but can result in a major jam from time to time, however I have not had to assist my son in clearing the dart.I would buy more NERF products in the future.On a side note I wanted to get a butt stock for this gun as it does ... When I called NERF to see if I could order just the stock I was informed they did not sell them separately. The advice from the manufacturer was to buy additional guns to obtain extra interchangeable parts. That idea did not set well with me. I went onto an internet auction site and got a new stock for a decent price.
My sons friends came over for the weekend, lot of nerf wars. All liked this one, never jammed once, great rapid fire. Really chucks the darts out. Good velocity. Anyone looking for a nerf that dad wont have to fix every two hours, go with the pump versions. They are reliable and less prone to jamming. This one in particular has a really smooth action. My son has others that arent quite as smooth and tend to jam a bit more. Overall any pump is better than the battery powered units that tend to be finicky about the quality of the darts, eat batteries, jam more frequently and are generally lower power based on my experience.
I am so happy I bought it! All these people that are saying ‘Bad review! It keeps on getting jammed!’ I have 2 explanations for that: 1. These people obviously don’t know what the hatch at the side is for. 2. It has not happened to me once. Anyway, it is excellent! Good job NERF!
I got this for myself for Xmas so that I could have my own Nerf gun for our backyard Nerf wars. This thing is great. I haven't had any jamming issues at all. It shoots far and with surprising accuracy. My kids have other Nerf products, but none of them hold this many shots so when they're out, I'm still firing.The one downside is that it takes a LONG time to reload the drum clip. I'd buy this again.
