Look this cereal does not taste like eating a KitKat. And why would you expect it to? It’s a cereal-of course it won’t be the same. That said it is still delicious! I eat it without milk every night. One serving is very low in calories and soothes my chocolate craving. Even eating more doesn’t make me feel guilty. This grown woman always keeps a box or two around!

Don’t waste your money you been warned this taste nothing like the candy bar whats so ever matter of fact this taste exactly like burnt water down chocolate. After one spoon of I wanted to throw the freshly new box in the trash but didn’t because I hate wasting money. I tried eating it with chocolate milk or adding sugar but nothing works, this is truly a awful cereal and the maker should be a shame releasing this to the public. After trying it two more times I ended up throwing it in the trash. Never again.

I'm surprised by all of the negative comments, because I really like this cereal!! It reminds me of that yummy spot in-between the wafer layers of a KitKat - and that's my favorite part! I like chocolate but I'm not a chocoholic. This has a cocoa-ish dusting that's chocolatey enough without being sickeningly sweet - just like the spot in those layers! I actually think it stays crunchy for much longer than a lot of cereal, without having to gobble it down super fast. II rarely buy new things more than once but I'm on my third box. Love it!

I bought this cereal on a whim, mainly because it was on sale. I didn’t expect much; frankly, i dont even like kit kat candy. My first bowl was a confusing experience; it wasn’t overly sweet or chocolatey, and i even detected a hint of saltiness. You might even say the flavor was complex, unusual for a kids cereal. But the taste grew on me, and now it is my favorite cereal. I cant get enough. I dont think it tastes as much like coco puffs as others have commented, and that’s much to its advantage, bc i think coco puffs is too sweet and actually inedible compared to this cereal. Probably have a more pronouced flavor with soy or almond milk. Sorta reminded me of KIX cereal but chocolate flavored. Its not ultra sweet; on the right bite you might get a kitkat taste. If it wasnt named kitkat cereal you wouldnt think to expect that was trying to be the flavor . Kinda leaves my mouth feelin like i ate fiber glaas. Gassy to. They should of flatten the cereal bits and name it kitkat waffers, given it a golden grams like flavor but drizzle with chocolate would make it into a more kitkat flavored. IF IT WASNT FOR THE KITKAT NAME youd think it just a generic chocolate crunch captin cereal.
When I heard Kit Kat cereal was coming in May, I checked Walmart everyday multiple times in anticipation. Was really looking forward to trying this.What an utter disappointment!Tastes nothing like Kit Kat. Tastes nothing like any other good chocolate cereal. Does not even make the milk chocolatey. Had to throw the box away after consuming half a bowl. Would give negative stars if allowed.
Do not listen to the reviews saying it taste like coco puffs. This cereal wishes! The texture is similar to chex which makes sense since a main ingredient is rice flour. But the chocolate flavor is practically nonexistent, it taste like peanut butter. If your not a fan of PB and really wanted chocolate this is disgusting. Also it does change the milk color. Your milk will taste like chocolate milk, but the cereal will taste like peanut butter.
If you blindfolded me and had me guess what I was easting I'd guess some Dollar Tree generic peanut butter chocolate cereal. You could put this in a box of fruit cereal and it would be just as close to that as it is to KitKat. I had to double check the ingredients to see if peanut butter is listed since PB makes me sick and this has some sort of PB taste to it. I think it may be from the oils in the cereal. It leaves a sort of oily feeling in your mouth after eating it. I definitely don't recommend it and wont buy it again.IF you do NOT like KitKat, go ahead and try it because this doesn't taste anything like that delicious candy.
