It still has the tendency to twist despite hanging it as you would coil a rope. I have taken off the fitting that allows you to change the nozzle as I think that it is easier to coil when there is no water in the hose and it helps keep it straight

Lovely soft hose, but does kink if you're not careful. The kink is only temporary.
