Even though I gave my serial number, I could not recover the admin password and had to do a factory reset which led to a cascade of poor connections

Eventually bought this as an upgrade to a cheap Mesh solution. It is extremely expensive, but so far has been a worthwhile upgrade. The key differences are that it seems very stable, the WiFi 6 is almost twice as fast as my old WiFi 5 mesh, and it probably reaches about 3-4m further into the corners of the house which used to have worse reception. I still need 3 units for my relatively small 4-bed house (so coverage isn’t radically better), but the speed and stability is a big upgrade.Finally, I had to manually upgrade the firmware to the latest version (the auto update didn’t work), but the Helpdesk team were great.

Super fast, super easy, and super coverage. A+ all around. Install was guided through the app very easily, and the speeds are just crazy. 3 story house with the main unit on the mid level and a satellite on the basement and top floor. What used to be a dead spot is now 300mbps. Just a great iterative product.

I upgraded from a RBR50 system which I have had for years and I am very pleased. The signals are stronger, so I only needed three satellites, instead of the four needed with the older system. I have a large house and land with a workshop 50m away from the house. They are all wired together with cat7 cable. I get a strong signal everywhere, even at the end of my paddock. I am very pleased with it.
Easiest setup I've ever been through and worked flawlessly right out of the box. Has continued to work perfectly for past several weeks. Purchased after having tons of issues that I just couldn't resolve with the Netgear Nighthawk and 2 satellites. Only roughly 3000 sq ft, but 3 stories and old house with thick brick and lath/plaster walls. Had lots of problems with signal dropping randomly, would have to retry connections multiple times to get it going again. 2 laptops and 1 phone all next to each other and one would just randomly drop. Now with the Orbi I have had no issues at all. The signal/speed is stronger/faster. Probably have 30-40 devices connected. Would highly recommend.
Needed to update my Mesh WiFi system. Read reviews and chose this systemFairly easy to set. Did buy a satellite as well. Made the mistake of setting up system and then added the extra satellite. On hind site should have added it at the beginning of initial installation and then I imagine it would have been easier.

The two satellite stations are in opposite corners of the house and are directly connected to the WiFi router via the patch panel. My office computer also got a dedicated line from router and the 4th line from the router goes to a switch which feeds the other hardwired lines in the house. I followed the basic WiFi set up via the phone app and everything worked beautifully on the first try. I have great WiFi signal throughout the house (about 5000 Sq Ft) and connection of handheld and laptop devices is flawless with similar upload/download speed to what I get out of my cable modem. Orbi860 mesh provides very thorough, fast WiFi coverage within my 3 story home including a poured concrete basemen where I had reception issues in the past. Very easy automated set-up. I opted for a base WiFi 6 mesh router with (2) satellites strategically placed to overlap coverage in 3D. I was surprised that the Orbi App didn’t have a visual or percent of signal strength means of directing optimal satellite placement and reaching the admin account requires separately logging in via Internet with no advanced admin account access through the App, but still, a huge upgrade in my case as I was seeking and obtained full Wi-Fi coverage everywhere in my home over cutting edge speed.
I bought this system to solve a specific problem. My office sits behind a large limestone fireplace and above the furnace in my home. The 5G signal of my old router was not strong enough in my office to use for any purpose. The 2.5 band was good enough in the office for basic tasks like surfing the web and sending emails, but I not strong enough for using Google Meet. So anytime need to video conference with a client, I had to move to my dining room where I had a strong Wi-Fi signal. With Orbi, the 5G signal is strong and useable in my office even for Google Meet.An added benefit of this mesh system is that I now have a strong signal in my garage and well out into my yard, where as with my old router I did not.
