Noticed I was having download rates around 20Mbps despite 200Mbps internet speed with my existing mesh network. Upgraded to the orbi and getting the speeds I should be seeing 160-220MBps depending on location. Excellent coverage for my house. I have a long bungalow style home with all stone walls which makes signals difficult to propagate. House is around 4700sq ft. Have the main router and three satellites. Also covers most of the outdoor area. So far, very happy with the product.

I have to say coming from Netgear Nighthawk AX-1800 MK62, Base unit with 1 satellite unit this new setup was a game changer in our home. We only have a 1450 Sq. Ft. home but the old one did ok but would drop to many times while streaming a show and the satellite helped some back in the office but if I wanted to stream something in our bedroom 15 feet from the satellite it would work something then out. I read quite a bit and decided on this Orbi 763S series, 1 base with 2 Satellites units. I sat the base in the same place, 1 satellite in the office and 1 in the kitchen to see how it would work for me out on the rear deck of the house. Moving up to the Tri-Band AX-5400 has made the world of difference already. Very happy with the purchase though Ebay and saved a lot of money instead of buy from NetGear. Buy it you will like it and save money. Just check reviews for this set RBK763S.

Only problem was finding the right tool for address reservation; it's only on the device-generated website. But even then, I had to log out and back in in order to get access: all the Setup web pages were the same from "Internet setup" to "Device name", info only, no available actions. But logging in again brought in the proper pages and now I just have to set up about 25-30 reservations so my IP address-based scripts will continue to work without mods.Loving this system!

The Orbi system itself is good and is providing solid connectivity. However, I have now place three separate tickets with Netgear support to get my Armor subscription (which I just renewed) moved from my old Orbi to the new system I purchased in December. It has now been 5+ weeks and all three tickets are still in a pending state. However, I am receiving multiple emails every day requesting to buy another new Armor subscription. Not sure Netgear support is what it used to be.
Purchase and delivery perfect. Installation smooth. Daily operation? At the moment the performance (coverage of apartment and stability) is significantly worse than the performance of older and cheaper NETGEAR Orbi AC3000 I used, the router and satellite placed on exactly same spots as predecessor. Predecessor replaced as it died within warranty period. Replaced because the predecessor I am very disappointed.
I'm getting 10-20% of my FIOS connection speed. a single 4K streaming TV show often stutters or pauses to buffer because I sometimes connections are as slow as only a few Mbs -- even when connected directly to the satellite via an ethernet cable.I can't do any of the advanced tweaks because the phone application lacks any sophistication, whatsoever, to be borderline worthless for anything but rebooting the router. And none of the support articles for logging into the application via the web app work as described. I'm so frustrated because I'm probably going to have to do a complete factory reset and start all over. I think that spending this much money on a router should result in a *fantastic* experience. I bought our AX5400 at Costco. It has the RBR 760 router and two RBS 760 satellites.I had previously had the 750 version. The coverage with this new version (760) is comparable to my older setup that had three satellites. I had purchased an extra satellite on this older setup for more complete 5G coverage.The setup with the app was a bit of a fight for some reason, but after it was completed, everything works as advertised or better. I have seamless 5G coverage across our home and the driveway, patio, and backyard. 2400sf home, single level, 1/4 acre lot.
I was sick of lag, buffering and drop-outs. So after much research I settled on the ORBI RBK 760 series. Holy Molly, what a difference quality gear makes. My Wi-Fi is faster than my fibre that comes to my house! Everything just works perfectly and makes my old high quality router/modem look like an old dog of a thing. No more black spots or dropouts. I know they're not cheap but if you are sick of rubbish Wi-Fi, get onto these, you wont be sorry. Easy to set up and the management software is easy to use and very handy to test the signal.
Straightforward and easy setup. Got this system to cover weak spots and slowness in parts of house. I have 2 story with finished basement 1500 sqft per floor and always had complaints from kids about terrible internet despite gig+ speed from xfinity and my owned motorla modem and separate router. Placing a satellite on each floor i now have no dead spots and even get on my patio and garage and front yard which never happened before. After a coiple weeks of great coverage i dropped my internet speed to 800 from xfinity and still awesome so saved 25$ a month. Highly recommend this mesh syatem
