I have two of these mics and they are amazing the quality is great very smooth vocals great clarity.
Superior, you don't get much better, super quite, great sustain, comfortably numb, i am going to order a few more, some time in the future.
I bought the Kms 104. Cardio pattern is perfect for me. I'm a guitar player singer. So I would recommend a cardio pattern to anyone that is playing an instrument and singing. The cardio does great to cut unwanted sound and you don't have worry about finding that sweet spot. Super cardio is good as well but mainly for a committed singer. This is a great warm mic it is a condenser so will need phantom voltage. You can run it with a tubed pre amp and you are getting that studio clarity, on a live stage.
There can not be enough said about the delicate detail this mic delivers. Very highly recommended for anyone who wants their voice to shine clearly through the mix. But be warned, mistakes come through as clear as day and cannot be blamed on faulty equipment. Highly recommended!
This is the best sounding mic we own, we'll most likely be picking up another two when budget allows. This mic has virtually no handling noise and doesn't feed back unless you point it straight at a speaker. Clear as a bell, absolutely perfect reproduction of whatever sound you put into it without boomy bottoms or harsh highs. Obviously, you get what you pay for, and these are not cheap, but they don't sound cheap either. If only the best will do, this is it. Drop dead perfect microphone with bulletproof construction.
So I have been using this mic for around three or four years with the same group of players across a plethora of stages, country clubs, banquet halls, etc. This mic has delivered great consistent sound weekend after weekend. Every vocalist in the group (three total) have sang into this mic on more than a few times and I did not have to touch the EQ at all. My rig is nothing special but it does the job right and this mic just adds warm sound to it. Oh the one downside, it picks up ride cymbal overtones really easily but no big deal if you know what you are doing.
Cuts through with vibrant clarity and no feedback when you turn up the gain. I'm absolutely loving it.
