This Neutrogena On-the-Spot Acne Treatment has a white creamy texture and applies evenly. Once dry, the product was flakey almost like dried peeling skin...But i left it alone to let the medication do it's job. Before bed I applied another coat and again allowed medication to dry and leave a peeling residue of product on my face once again...Their was no burning it itching when using this product. When morning came i washed my face and couldn't believe the results and after only one day! It worked faster then I expected! But I couldn't use this product under my makeup since the product dried giving a flakey residue that didn't make my skin look too appealing...

Neutrogenas On-the-spot acne treatment is really great. I have found that my teenage daughter, who peels easily using benzoyl peroxide, is able to use this wth her sensitivities. The 2.5% benzoyl peroxide cream disappears instantly and goes to work destroying acne without making it look worse by it peeling. There is nothing worse than a big fat pimple or patch of acne, made ten times worse by dry, painful and peeling skin. I saw improvements in my daughters face by morning. It has really reduced size and pain. She was able to treat the pimple effectively within a few days. She has had a marked improvement in her overall facial skin as she’s using a thin layer over problem areas.

I typically don’t use on the spot acne treatments because they are too harsh on my skin and I hate having white dots of cream on my face during a breakout. However Neurtogena has completely changed my mind and attitude about on the spot acne treatments. This product not only works fast at clearing the blemish but also gentle enough to not irritate my skin. It did cause a little dryness but it was easily fixed with a little moisturizer. I also loved how fast the cream absorbed and disappeared so I wasn’t walking around with white spots on my face.
