Neutrogena Rapid Tone Repair Dark Spot Corrector 1 fl oz (29 ml)

The Neutrogena Rapid Tone Repair Dark Spot Corrector with Vitamin C and Retinol is one of my new favorite skincare products. It smells wonderful and goes on nice and smooth. I have only used it for about 2 weeks (and less often than I'm supposed to... Oops) and I see a difference in my skin tone. The acne scars I have are lightening and my skin is so much smoother. It makes your skin feel silky smooth right when you put it on. I use it on my whole face and neck. It does cause a bit of a burning sensation for the first few seconds but it goes away quickly. I haven't had any kind of irritation or bad side effects whatsoever with this. I'm excited to see how my skin improves after using it a little longer.

3 weeks and I'm convinced it works

I really didn't think my dark spots wld ever fade much and there are so many products that do anything noticeable. I read that it takes 1 week for noticeable differences. The tube is 20.00 and lasts abt a month. I figured I'd try one more product. I was amazed that after a week I really noticed a difference. As I continued to use it, i really saw my dark spots lighten and just a small amt of concealer is all it takes under foundation to make them seem almost gone. I know I'll always jave these spots but I'm feeling very lifted in spirit that they are paler and all of my skin is looking bright. I've always liked neutrogena bath and cleansing products but now I think I need to look into the more serious products. I'm 62.

It does not leave a white cast or greasy finish. Only a small amount is needed and one bottle can last quite a bit. Ingredients are of good quality. Will repurchase!Good for sensitive and easily irritated skin.Good for sensitive and dry skin. Does not dry and makes the skin feel tight, gentle to skin. Size of bottle can last for long use time, ingredients are of good quality.

Fine after 1 week but still assessing

My dermatologist recommended the Rapid Tone Repair Dark Spot Corrector with Retinol line for various spots caused by sun damage, aging, and genes. I bought 3 of the products: Corrector, Spf Moisturizer, Night Moisturizer to start and have been using them for a week. I was realistic that not all spots were going to disappear but I did expect that the overall skin tone would even out and the spots would become less noticeable. The 3 boxes all say "Visible Results in Just 1 Week." Well, I haven't seen anything dramatic but I do notice that my complexion does look brighter and feels softer. The spots are still there but they do look like they are somewhat less dark and visible. I took 2 stars off the rating because I absolutely HATE the pump dispenser on all 3 bottles. I have always found that the last 10% of lotion is impossible to pump out and much of it remains in the bottle/tube or around the pump. Why don't the geniuses at Neutrogena just use squeeze tubes? Why pump dispensers?

I adore this product

I've been using this product for about 6 months as an alternative for a harsher retinol serum, and it has helped my extremely sensitive, hyperpigmentation- prone skin a lot. The best thing about this treatment is that it does not cause any discomfort- it actually feels really pleasant on my face-and I love the light, clean fragrance. (I am very sensitive to fragrance, but no worries with this cream!)I apply the dark spot corrector about 20 minutes or so after using a gentle chemical exfoliant, and that regimen has lightened dark areas significantly for me and has helped even out my skin tone as well.I've recommended this product to several people (as well as the chemical exfoliant- Paula's Choice 2% bha liquid) and basically can't live without it now!

I works!!!

I found this product to give it a try after a dermatologist offered to laser treatments on my sun spots for over $1,000!!! I figured it was a cheap option to give this product a try. I am slightly over 60 and in good shape, but have lived in tropical places since 2005. So my face needed some TLC.After 4 months, my skin looks GREAT and sun spots are slowly disappearing. My overall complexion has made an improvement with dead dry skin removed and a radiating complexion is replaced. It is getting harder to find this product so I hope Neutrogena is not taking it off the market. I have noticed the tubes are smaller from 1.3 oz to now 1.0 oz. and more expensive. Very disappointing Neutrogena!

Makes My Skin So Soft

I'm surprised at the people leaving this bad reviews. I love this. Every time I put it on I can't stop touching my face. It makes it so soft. I have a few dark spots. I was realistic about the level of improvement I was going to see. Has it made my dark spots lighter? Yes. Has it made them disappear? No. Am I happy with this product? Yes.

My age spot is almost completely gone!

I bought this hoping it would work. I am excited to say, it really does! I had a dark spot (age spot) on my chest that I was self conscious about. I tried covering it up with concealer but I could tell it was there so I decided to try the rapid tone dark spot concealer. I applied a tiny amount every day and after about 2 weeks the spot is almost completely gone! I was so surprised and happy! I would definitely recommend this product.
