I've used retinol products before and some of them just wasn't for me. I do tend to stick to lower concentrations of retinol or use the more natural versions of it like bakuchiol. I decided to start slow by applying the serum to clean dry skin twice a week and then slowly worked up to every second day. The texture is very runny and almost watery but it soaked in to my skin pretty quickly and there was no stinging or irritation. I did follow every application with my usual nighttime moisturizer. I do tend to stick to lower concentrations of retinol or use the more natural versions of it like bakuchiol.
