I enjoyed using this retinol serum. The packaging is good - an opaque bottle with a dripper which has a button on top of it, making for easy dosing. The serum is very runny and slightly oily, but not greasy. It sinks in quickly and layers well with other skincare products with no pilling. I always like neutrogena products I think they always tend to be a higher quality high street option to products out there and this didn't disappoint! Retinol can be a funny one for people , myself included as I've used retinol products before and it's just not agreed with my skin and caused irritation and sensitivity. This however hasn't so if your wanting to start using retinol this is a brilliant way to start , as I could feel it working but in a much more gentle way than others I've tried . I will be keeping this as part of my skin care regime for an evening and will use it 2/3 nights alternatively with another serum (no retinol) my skins glowing and feels tight with no irritation at all ! #HomeTesterClubFreeSample

I love this and will continue to buy.The serum is light and silky and has an oil feel to it which I think is good and helps to penetrate the skin better.My skin felt instantly smooth and softer after using due to the texture and in the morning fresher.Over time my skin texture and fine lines have improved. The serum is not sticky and does absorb but I wouldn’t use it right before going to sleep as with most retinol products they are a thicker oiler consistency which need a bit longer to absorb.My skin can be sensitive and I haven’t experienced any sensitivity from using this.

It's so quick and easy that it's been a breeze to add it to my skin routine. The box tells you to start slowly as you may experience a reaction at first (possible tingling, redness, or flaking) but i didn't have any reaction.The product comes in a nice box, which you open up to find a lovely silver bottle inside. It is a pump action dropper that unscrews from the bottle. This works very well and draws up the serum with ease and will make the product last as you wont have wastage. It is easy to use just apply 4-5 drops into your palm and gently massage onto the face in a circular motion with your fingers. A visible improvement can be seen after 3 weeks, but i did notice a slight difference after just 1 week.
I really enjoyed trying this retinol night serum from Neutrogena. It comes in a convenient bottle with pipette for easy application and accurate dosage. Consistency is very pleasant and absorbs fast. Compared to other retinol product this one doesn't irritated my skin and was very comfortable in using. Its been a two months since I using it and after about month and half I started to noticing biggest improvements. My fine lines are much less visible and skin looks healthier, smoother and brighter. I recieved this neutrogena retinol boost + intense night serum for free to test and review from the home tester club. The bottle is very sleek with a pipette dropper making it easy to dispense the correct amount of drops 4 -5 drops is enough. The serum is more of a lightweight oil which is unscented and very nourishing I found it absorbed into my skin nicely without leaving it too greasy or oily. This serum by Neutrogena is very easy to apply and comes in convenient bottle with pipette applicator. It has tingle at first use but my skin adjust pretty fast. I noticed just after couple uses that my skin feel softer and have a bit of healthier look. After using it for over a month I noticed that my fine lines on the forehead are smoother and less visible. Im very impressive with the results and will continue to use it. I highly recommend it for someone who is concern at noticing early signs of aging and want to do start with good quality retinol product and its also budget friendly.

I’ve been using retinol in various products for a good few years and have been quite happy with my regular product, however was please me to give this ago. Firstly unlike other retinol serums this product is not greasy. It left my skin with a healthy shine but not sticky or heavy. I didn’t feel I needed heavy moisturiser afterwards so was a one stop product. Most surprisingly I have suffered with hyperpigmentation for years and this is the first retinol product I have used that actually appeared to reduce this. Unscented and non irritating. I will definitely buy this again, and it’s a really reasonably priced product too!
