I bought these about 3 months ago. It's a solid shoe with a durable form yet sensitive material. These stain real easily. I wouldn't where as an everyday shoe.

the 57/40 has interjected renewed vigor into my love for New Balance. The chunky styling, comfort and materials make this and any other 57/40 a great pickup. The Cordura material is very durable, I have not spilled anything or thankfully run these against anything sharp as of yet, but they do not scuff as easy as some soft suedes or leathers.

I don’t normally wear New Balance shoes but these are extremely comfortable. I prefer to wear these over my $300 pair of runners. The beige colour is lovely too.

These sneakers are EVERYTHING! The reviews say order a size up. I’m a true size 7 in women’s sneakers and ordered my true size. They were way too snug. I returned and ordered the size 7.5 once they came in stock and they fit perfect. However after wearing them for a day running around shopping and doing errands they have loosened up considerably. I kind of wish I kept the 7 if I knew they’d loosen up. Sizing is definitely tricky for these. If they feel snug on the width but the toe box is ok then they will loosen up and you don’t need to size up. If they feel snug on the toe box then size up.
Solid shoe, I liked the repeated text. The shoe unfortunately is large and boxy, it looks like a pair of your dads NB's but with updated sole and stitch patterns. Does not fit/look like a modern trim shoe with close fitting sleeker lines. 5 stars for good build quality but ultimately not my look. Was looking for a more modern fit with a retro feel.
Got these mostly for working as a server. Solid for being on ones feet for many hours while also generating a lot of compliments from coworkers. The weird text almost turned me off, but it's small enough that it effectively just looks like a pattern from a normal distance. So It works out.
