These shoes are awesome! I have worn New balance sneakers for 25 + yrs and this latest model doesn't disappoint. A modern take on the 574,these feel familiar but have much more support and stability than the classic 574.In fact, I have recently been suffering from plantarfacitis (sp?) and since wearing these shoes, it has just about gone away! The fit is classic NB and the build quality top notch.

I got the white version. Love the retro look with the colors and am excited for all the upcoming colorways (can't wait for grey!). Very comfortable as an everyday errands shoe. I went up 1/2 a size as I worried about my slightly wider feet, but going forward I'll go TTS as there is definitely more than enough room 1/2 size up.

You guys probably made one of the best looking sneakers I've ever seen with these. Got the black ones from here, ended up deciding to get the whites as well from another site where they weren't sold out. The only constructive criticism I can offer is that I would love if the sole bottom had a crazier design or pattern.Props to the people who designed these.
Very sturdy and stylish. These are head turners for sure. Great colors and materials. These are unlike all the other NBs I've owned. Just something different (but good) about these. The abundance of 3m is an awesome feature of this shoe. Just buy them you'll be glad you did.
I love this shoe. I purchased both black and white colors. Very comfortable, secure fit. It has a nice and stable cushion. I wear this shoe mostly casually. The fit is true to size in my opinion. I ordered the same size in this shoe as I do with the 990s.
I purchased the 57/40 in Black. Was excited to about this shoe. Quality construction and great colors. The shoe is nice, casual one, but will say they feel heavy on the feet and comfort is okay. May take time to break in a bit to see if they feel better.
So far it's been a very nice everyday shoe. The design is great and the build quality seems really nice. I like the vintage tech vibe the colors and styling gives. Easily worn with jeans or joggers.
The 57/40 is the next evolutionary step for the 574 silhouette. This new model builds off the classic aesthetics of the 574 and adds to it using modernized aesthetics.
I really think NB was too humble on this release! The comfort is out of this world, I need to check the 574 sometime soon to compare, but if you're thinking about this pair, pull the trigger! You won't be worrying about too much suede either, it's used smart in this model and the leather does the white justice.
