They are gorgeous, super comfy and I love the updated classic look.Note on sizing that these are in men's sizes, and they convert differently to UK sizes than New Balance women's sizes do, so it's worth checking the NB size charts before ordering. I had to size up to a 5.5 as the 5 I ordered previously was too small.

Size issue isn't the length but rather the width around the toes means they are tight and uncomfortable. And I don't normally have problems with shoes being too small!

I believed the sizing info and bought half a size smaller (9.5) They were painfully small. So i bought them again- they didn’t have a 10 so i got the 10.5. I can’t even tell a difference! My toes hurt. So i am returning and ordering a third time- size 11. The width is great and i love the look of the shoes, but i can’t believe how small they run and i don’t understand how anyone says they run large.
NB has been my go-to brand for years. Reading the other commentators, I decided to go up a size from 10. Still, these were too tight in shoe box and really too short/narrow for walking with a medium sock.
I love the 574 but the gender inclusive styling is much more narrow in the toe box. I wear a 13 in all 574 styles with lots of room in the toe box for even the thickest of socks. but this one was too narrow in the toe box. 14s we’re just too long and felt sloppy. Not a good shoe for average or wide feet like other 574 styles.
Quality was good. I like the profile. It's slimmer than the older 574. But I've been wearing the 574 for years. My foot measures a perfect 12 and medium width, but I've always purchased the Chinese made 574 in a 13, because it was always just a little smaller than the American made New Balance styles. I also like the 574 for the ample room in the toe box. This particular shoe was different though. It was cut smaller all throughout, pressing on the side and end of the toe, where my current older 574s offer at least a thumbs width between my toe and the end of the shoe.
Great color combo, comfy ride! This is my first pair of New Balance and I was afraid that the toe box was too wide. Snug, but not too snug fit - and with the high stack they are quite comfy.
The fit is comparable to other New Balance 574s. I have a few 574s and I was not expecting the unfinished tongue, with exposed foam.
