Ordered for my special needs big kid who needs more arch support/orthotics. He’s able to wear these without his orthotics which allows us to keep them in an alternate pair of shoes and not have to switch daily! Great fit and must be comfortable because he loves them and they’re now his preferred wear!

These are as wide as advertised! Although the shoe is two sizes too big it was the only way to get the extra wide toe box for my small foot. My true shoe size a 2. I have yet to hike with them or go for extended works, but so far, with inserts provided by a podiatrist I have not gotten any blisters.

So comfortable. I teach on thr 3rd floor of a school and run around the building all day. I have plantar fasciitis, and these cradle and support my heel. The shock absorption is crazy!!! The toebox is wide, but so is the whole shoe, which is great for the stability I feel in them. Definitely worth the money, plus I'm a 7.5 W, and bought a 6Y, which is almost a little big. Get these. That's it.

They can easily be removed and replaced with my grandson's inserts. Other brands have varying amounts of glue. Some brands use so much glue the inserts can't be removed without being ruined. It was difficult finding alternative shoes during that time.No styles with Velcro straps past size 3 1/2. A Velcro option in the FuelCell 990v6, or other styles, would allow many children with disabilities to put them on independently.
I love my New Balance. I haven't had a pair in years and I was a little skeptical about getting a new style. But I am pleased with my decision. They are lightweight, stylish and comfortable. I normally wear a 6 in big kids but after reading reviews, I went a 1/2 size down. I could've gone a whole size down.
I feel like my whole life has been a lie. Like I cheated my feet for my whole life before I had these shoes. I've lost 80 lbs in the past year and my feet have hurt the whole time until now. I bought my first pair at a thrift store to try them out and I loved them so much I ordered a pair immediately! (I probably should have kept the thrift store part to myself, huh?) Anyway...47 year old mom here and loving my new kicks. P.S. They make me run faaaaaast. I need another pair because it's Valentines Day and I love myself. Buy the dang shoes.😜
Love at the beginning. After I started wearing them daily, one of my foot start to have some pain, especially when walking longer distance. I switched to my 9060, my foot recovered from it. Maybe because the sole is too soft on 990V6.
Second pair for my 4th grader - gray/silver and blue. My youngest has wide chucky feet. He cant wear crocs forever. These are fashionable and he finds them very comfortable. Xwide and wide both are fine for him. We honestly can not but other brands. I wish the price were lower or this model would have a sale 🫣! Otherwise 🧡
