I have never posted a shoe review before. My very high arches started falling inward about a year ago. Sudden change from my life of wearing whatever shoes I wanted. This new ache suddenly and seemingly permanently crossed into painful. I tried every shoe brand the podiatrist recommended, without a cost filter. I mistakenly thought that every "foam" type shoe from all the top brands would feel the same. Visually, they look the same. They are not! If I hadn't gone to try on in person, I would've spent so much time on purchases and returns or settled for a shoe other than these. NB 680 Fresh Foam is far and away the best! The only ones that came close to meeting my arches and walking in them felt like walking in a hug. I bought them in black, and then found so much comfort and relief, I bought them again in cream. I hope to buy them in blue next. I know that sounds nuts. But, I wore them this past week for four straight days of constant walking in NYC without absolutely zero foot fatigue. Crazy. I still wear wedges/heels when I want to dress up. I still wear ballet flats with inserts when fashion dictates. But every other second, I wear these or oofos. If the arch still isn't high enough, a simple high index insert fills the gap. There is nothing like the comfort, bounce, and hug of this shoe.Probably my last shoe review ever.

This revamp is terrible.The 680’s have been my long run shoe for years. I was excited for the new version and the fun colors, but these are the worst shoes I’ve ever ran in.The upper material has been changed, it’s a foam like mesh which retains water and heat.The rubber guide that was on the front toe box previously was removed, which in doing so removed the shoes ability to avoid water retention.I ran an easy 4 miles in super light rain and my feet were absolutely soaked and hot!Truly awful.If you want a cute shoe for walking and live in a cold and dry climate these might be for you.If you love the previous 680’s do not buy these, go searching for old versions online!BRING BACK THE OLD VERSION!

Great for running! Only untied once while running and I had it doubled tied, but was at 6.4 MPH. Only time it ever happened was once. They are comfy, although I prefer how the 928V3 ones feel; my right foot has a plantar callus from a center toe metatarsal bone that didn’t heal properly. It works ways better than custom orthopedic insert, because both feet need to feel the same as much as possible; the custom insert would squish under my running and what a huge waste of money custom orthotics are! These and my other NB shoes and a different pair of rocker style tennis shoes make it possible for my lifestyle, with fitness and caring for disabled people. Running at least a mile every day this month to raise money for American Cancer Society.
