These shoes are some of the best that I have had the pleasure of wearing in a while. I wanted to wait to see how they held up for many different uses in my life. I am training for a 5k that is coming up this weekend, and they have been so nice to wear; they are light enough that I don't feel the extra weight but also sturdy enough to support my very flat feet. Secondly, I am a healthcare worker and am on my feet for 12-hour shifts on top of nursing school clinical hours. They were super comfortable and durable for these shifts, and I have decided to buy a pair to dedicate specifically as my work shoes. I was excited to try these Fresh Foam x 880v13s out because they mentioned having a lot of cushion. I normally end up with several bandaids on each foot and toe, but I ran around in these with zero problems. No heel pain, no plantar fasciitis pain, nothing. It was amazing and truly shocking. I have also tested these on several runs now and they're a gift from the shoe gods. I highly recommend trying them out, especially if you ever feel like you're running on concrete when you wear shoes. These hit every mark for me.

As you get a bit older (in my case, late 20s), you once again realize you have no time for unsupportive shoes and basic Nikes you wore in your younger years. Comfort is supreme. And if the shoe also happens to look good - that's a plus! I got both of those features in this shoe. I have only worn one pair of New Balances before and it was not a good-looking shoe to say the least - which deterred me from wanting to wear it at all. After a few runs in my New Balance Fresh Foam X 880v13 it was very clear these were SO much better than the UA running shoes I had been wearing and every other running shoe I have personally purchased.The shoes are very cushioned, it's kinda springy feeling and it definitely made running on pavement SO much more comfortable for my feet and my knees. The shoes feel like they are form fitted to your feet, cradling all the places you'd want support from your shoe. They are light and breathable. Great for walks and runs. And since i read that New Balance is podiatrist approved, I will for sure be buying another pair of these when I wear the current ones out!I received this product for free in return for an honest review. I cut my toe nails all the time, so they are not long, yet the plastic piece of the shoes kept catching my toe nails and caused pain and a skin crawling uncomfortable sensation. I tried to wear these to work out for a two weeks, and they are just as uncomfortable as day 1. If you want to try these shoes, I recommend sizing up 1 to 1.5 sizes. I run between an 8 1/2 to 9. I always order a size 9 in NB which gives me a little extra space. I ordered this model in size 9 regular. My big toe is butted up against the very tip of the shoe and the fit is so tight that I had to double check the size to make sure I wasn't sent a size 8 narrow by mistake. So frustrated and irritated with the inconvenience of having to make a trip to my local UPS store to return the package and to I'm still without my much anticipated new running shoes!
