Great cushioning too. I have tried on the Glycerine’s too and would like to buy them some day. They fit the same but with even more cushioning. But they are too expensive for my taste. This pair I managed to find on sale for $60!!

I was looking for a different shoe brand and found a good selection to choose from. The New Balance 880’s were a great choice fir comfort and cost.
Been using the 880s on and off for years. Really like the updated V13. Great overall trainer and responsive. Good for road (paved or dirt) and treadmill. Very happy this shoe isn't like running on a marshmallow. Hope NB keeps this shoe low to the ground.
I have the V12 and it is my favorite road shoe for daily runs. It is firm yet cushioned and rsponsive, feet do not get sore. I woud compare them to Brooks Ghost with more cushion and more stable. Love the 880's
This is the first New Balance shoe that did not fit properly. I choose a half size larger as I usually do and it was to snug at the toe. Also, for a D width, it was to tight and rubbed on the side of my foot. Additionally, the shoe strings were very slick and hard to handle. It seems that this model or perhaps New Balance has started to reduce there quality for fit and finish. The only positive was the cushioning of the shoe which was excellent.
These are by far the most comfortable running shoes I've ever owned. Out of the box they are very comfortable with tons of cushion.
I have minor arthritis in my left knee. Recently visited Fleet Feet in Carrboro to get fitted. The whole process was very easy and the sales professional recommended The New Balance shoes. What a difference! For the first time in over a year I ran 5K with NO PAIN. Even set a new personal record!
These are excellent running shoes. I have been jogging in them for several weeks. Light weight and comfortable.
