Incredibly Confortable but one issue. There is a cushion strip where the sole meets the side of the shoe that doesn’t fully make sense. It rubs against my foot and has been giving me blisters. Maybe getting wider would be the way but it is only for one of my feet. I feel like the angled cushioned piece isn’t entirely necessary and wish it wasn’t there. Other than that, I have been walking quite a bit with these and after I take them off I immediately feel the difference. They are like clouds. I wish I could wear them all day. Hands down would recommend them but maybe get the wides.

It’s a monster on foot. If you can get around that, it’s mostly visual. I can see it leading to some foot contact issues in-stride depending on your form, but it’s remarkably comfortable on step-in and really overrode those initial concerns. To note, you’re not sprinting in these, but they’re not made for that anyway. You can crank it up a bit from your base pace, but a lighter shoe would do you better in your rotation for that.Personal issue is that it’s actually a bit too much squish for me. I ended up with some hip drop I think because the shoe was so soft it affected my mechanics a bit. Had some post-run hip and glute pain I typically do not experience after a 4 mile run at about 8:45/mile. I’m shorter with a slightly heavier build (5’7, 165), so that ... MoreIt’s a monster on foot. After switching from the Nike Free Runs, these are unbelievably comfortable for both walking and jogging. Can feel a bit heavy off the bat, but after a couple weeks that dissipates completely. The shoe shape also improves form and posture significantly over much flatter style running shoes. Wish i got another pair in a different color!

I have been an avid New Balance wearer of your athletic shoes. They have been my main stay. I am retired and I walk on average 4 miles a day. This is my second pair of Fresh Foam shoes and after only a month of wearing I have found these doing more harm than good in my walking regiment. I have found that the X More v4 does not have the stability and comfort that I had with my previous shoe. I am also finding that this shoe is wearing down quicker after wearing them for less than a month. I am not certain if it is because of there being too much cushion that I am realizing more foot pain, but unfortunately, I have reverted to the HOKA Bondi 8, which is providing the stability and comfort in my walks. I’m a pretty solid dad bod physique at 5’10 195. My old Nike Pegasus’s were killing my back as I looked to get back into jogging. These shoes genuinely solved all my problems related to soreness in my back and feet. I feel excited and look forward to jogging because it means I get to put these shoes on.I want to have several pairs of this shoe. They’re that good. For a regular person who just needs a comfortable shoe to walk/jog in these are the ones. Don’t need to second guess yourself.
Just not as good as earlier versions. The toe box changed a couple of versions ago and it’s now too narrow. Also not a fan of the heel split. Goodbye to NB and back to Hoka for me. Same price point and more comfortable.
Hey guys, novel runner here, actually I'm probably more of a yogger. Anywho, I bought my NB MoreV4 after the shoe caught my eye with its ridiculous midsole. I love bold shoes and the red ones I have are most definitely bold. After trying every sort of Adidas Boost, even the yeezy 380 which is the closest to the squish factor I feel while wearing the New Balance. It has a rocking effect for a super smooth heel to toe transition. Also has more of a bounce back than boost. If you liked Boost back in the day then you will love the ginormous layer of Fresh Foam X. It is boost on steroids lol. So yeah, happy with my purchase!
I received my order in a couplecof days. I ran 4 miles in these shoes. They are definitely cushoined as advertised by New Balance. As a baseball catcher I suffered a small tendon injury in my left foot 2 months ago and these running made a difference when I ran with them.
I have suffered with painful feet and neuropathy for several years. My feet always hurt if I’m not wearing extremely comfortable shoes. I use to only purchase Brooks tennis shoes but their quality is no longer. Thankful to have found these tennis shoes after ordering and trying on many. Excellent job New Balance. I highly recommend this shoe for anyway suffering with foot issues.
The shoe runs big and is very soft but not all that comfortable. I found it to difficult to run in for long days or recovery runs. The foam provides little to no energy return and almost felt like running in the sand. My main gripe with the shoe is the outsole. It has to be one of the worst as far as durability is concerned. After wearing the shoe about a dozen or so times the outer rear sections and toe box are nearly worn as much as shoes I have run in for months and hundreds of miles. I would expect the rubber patches to be completely worn in less than 300mi. For comparables, I am a 6'3" 230lbs weightlifter that enjoys running on average 5-10mi 3-5x's per week.
