I love New Balance and have worn them for years. That being said, I did not like this shoe. My chief compliant was that the heel box was too low and even though laced up correctly my foot still slipped up and down. I wear an 8N. Like another reviewer I did not like the wide appearance of the toe box which gave the shoe an appearance of an "orthopedic look"! I would have preferred leather uppers. I HAVE to have a shoe with a removable footbed which limits what shoe I buy. RETURNED.

They wewe extremely supportive and comfortable from the first day I wore them. They support my arches and require no other insoles or arch supports. Please don't stop making the New Balance 857V3 for women!

These sneakers are so comfortable for working. They give you ankle and feet the support they need. Have since purchased a second pair in white.
This is a very comfortable and extremely supportive shoe, and well made.Added bonus, doesn’t leave marks on carpet or floors.
This 4x wide shoe is narrower and shorter than my same style shoe, same size 2x wide shoe. Very disappointed. Returning shoe for an exchange for next larger size.
Well cushioned and very supportive. Deep enough for my fairly chunky orthotics. Nice quality leather - I always choose leather over fabric because my big toe wears through fabric. New Balance are the only brand wide enough for my wide feet and small bunions. I have been wearing the 634 D width for years, these seem like a more supportive option. 1 star deducted because they top of the shoe cuts into my ankle slightly if I wear thin socks. I think it would be better with a longer tongue or a slightly higher cut.
I have not been able to wear them because somehow they put great pressure on the under side of my toes and after awhile the pain is so great I can’t wear them. The sole is too firm.
Good shoe. I am very limited in what shoes I can wear and need to fit fairly heavy orthotics in them. The rollbar support is very good and does help to stablize the foot. The 2E width is good and the change of design across the front (from the V2) means the seam does not catch my bunion.
Runs half size large. Comfortable shoe! Have gotten several compliments on them!
