Newgate Charlie Bell Echo Matte - Pebble White

The one I bought was white. Keep's an excellent time and although I don't use the alarm, I have tested it and it's very loud. Great quality. Loved it so much I bought two.

A nice clock but....

Inspired by one of Newgate's large wall clocks I recently bought from John Lewis I went on to buy this alarm clock. It looks good; the grey and brass contrast is stylish and contemporary. I like the sweeping second hand, its quiet (no tick-tock) and the traditional alarm bells are lovely. However, the clock was secured to the packaging by two tiny tiny screws so I had to hunt out a screwdriver small enough to remove them. Once they were out and I removed the clock, one of the two screws that holds the back of the clock in place dropped out and as with the packaging screws they are tiny tiny!! So I couldn't find the lost screw! Cute but stylish.

LOVE the look of this clock, very on trend and fits in well in my office space. Won't be used as an alarm but to tell the time only. It is a classic style and I love the dark against the brass, a very modern style. The clock is smaller than I expected but I like the size and daintiness of it, adds a great ornamental style to my sideboard. Easy to tell the time with a clear clock face.

Great if your hearing is normal.

Looks nice and unobtrusive but if your hearing is as bad as mine you will not loose any sleep when the alarm works, I have too wear two hearing aids and suffer from a bad ear wax problem so I was the ultimate test. It's highly likely you will find it's a great little alarm clock and great value for money.

Just the right colour

Prefer an analogue bedside clock and this one fits the bill !The size and colour are perfect for my bedroomIt does not need resetting after a power cut !

Looks good. Tricky to set alarm.

Not easy to set an accurate alarm. You need to wait until well after the alarm time the previous evening to switch on the morning alarm or it rings straight away. Marks seems to indicate 12 minute segments, which seems unusual. Looks very good, solid & well made.

Love this clock

It looks so cute on a little end table in our living room. Not that keen on the colour, strangely enough - insipid is the word that comes to mind. Regardless, I love this clock with unusual passion. It makes me happy every time I look at it and it keeps good and silent time. I'm very glad I bought it.

Not silent at all!

Love the design and colour of this clock but the "silent sweet" is not so silent! We can hear the second hand at night even from across the room... a low but loud constant sound that is more unpleasant than a ticking clock. I'm not sure how much you're meant to spend on a clock for the very selling point to work but I didn't consider this a good value price. Really disappointed!

This product is worth all its weight in gold! I purchased the yellow one, it is beautiful!I was impressed by the efficiency of the delivery!
