These shoes look great and look of quality. Unfortunately they are too tight if you have flat feet. No matter how loose I adjusted the laces they were too tight. That does not affect them being great just not a good fit for my feet personally.

If one is being fair and honest - Par for the course for Nike. Specifically sizing. It’s always so varied and often times trial and error. Error of course in Nike, not the buyer/user.These run narrow and small. I have another pair of very similar Air Max, sizing was right on and comfortable. Hopefully going up 1/2 size solved the issue.My advice - go up 1/2 size than normal for this shoe.
I bought these sneakers for my husband for Christmas, They turned out to be extremely comfortable and a perfect fit. He has severe orthopaedic issues on one foot and has had an insert made .I'm so happy since we have tried numerous makes and brands of other sneakers. Thank you for making his life easier to walk.

I purchased these shoes for my fiancé through the website because they were sold out in the store. He weras a size 12 and had never had an issue with the width of any Nike shoes he has ever had before, but these were too narrow. It sucks, also because they aren't offered in a wider width. Returned and got a different pair, almost exactly like these & they fit fine. As far as Academy, this has nothing to do with you. Shipping was quick & we received them in 2 days.
I bought these for my son. The shoes look really good in person, but the way they are designed the shoe fits tight at the area where the laces begin. I ordered his size, and even ordered a pair a half size up but both sizes had the same issue. I wish they fit better, they are some attractive shoes. I had to return them and buy a totally different style of shoe for my son.
These Nike Air Max shoes feel very comfortable and are great for everyday walking around and perfect for athletic performance such as jogging, playing a pickup game of basketball and/or a tennis match. They were a great price at Shoe Carnival and really made me feel like I got excellent value for my money! Great pair of shoes and great price point! I will be buying these shoes again!
