These are good quality shorts. The 5 inseam seam is perfect for running, squatting or just moving. The material is moisture wicking and quick dry. The elastic band is comfortable with a tie if needed. There is even a pocket on the back of the shorts. My only complaint would be that the pocket is not big enough to hold a phone and is only closed by one small piece of Velcro, not a zipper. The Velcro seems to be high quality and will likely hold while being active, but a zipper would make me feel more comfortable putting anything of value in the pocket. All in all, these are nice comfortable shorts that I will wear again and again!

I like the way they look on me but they fit a little more loose around the waist than I'd like. For shorts that have built in underwear, I'd like for the shorts to fit a bit more snug...to feel a bit more safe. There are draw strings, but they are pretty long and still don't get me there to feel safe if the shorts got snagged on anything. Compared to other shorts I own, it seems like the waistband is less elastic-y so they don't hug the way I'm used to.The length is just right for my taste. They bend, breathe, and stretch well. If you don't have the irrational fear that your shorts will get pulled down, they're great shorts.

Being a quite tall man at six foot three comes with challenges of finding clothing that is not only height proportionate, but also comfortable. These shorts fit the bill. They have built underwear so I can run without extra layers and keep cool in the lightweight fabric these shorts are made of. They cover all the unmentionables, and again, keep me cool while running. I have washed them in cold water, and tumbled dry on low several times since I've had them, and the craftsmanship is amazing. They have give in the waist so I don't have friction and most of all they're by my favorite clothing brand.

I have bought lots of workout shorts in my life. A twice-yearly fitness test is part of my job, so I need workout clothes that fit well, hold up in all kinds of conditions, and travel well. These are lined fitness shorts like many others in the category. However, these shorts functioned very well, and while similar to other fitness shorts it was the little details that really set these apart. For example the lining of these shorts was very comfortable. It was not as loose as other brands and yet wasn't constricting. It fit very well around the legs. I could see going for a ride or run and then swimming in them afterwards. The drawstring in the elastic waist was flat and not round. The ends of the drawstring were sewn down so they wouldn't fray after a lot of use. ... MoreI have bought lots of workout shorts in my life. I could see going for a ride or run and then swimming in them afterwards. The drawstring in the elastic waist was flat and not round. The ends of the drawstring were sewn down so they wouldn't fray after a lot of use. Also, there were comfortable pockets that allowed me to carry stuff like my phone and keys easily to work out and leave a bulky gym bag behind. The length was a good length. They were slightly longer than some gym shorts, but shorter than basketball shorts. This made them ideal for running as well as indoor activity. The material is also very light feeling, but very sturdy. The "dry" material was really good at wicking away moisture. It isn't a complicated product; shorts + liner, and yet when you pay attention to the design details, like these shorts do, it makes all the difference and creates real value.
These are one of the most comfortable pairs of shorts my husband has worn for an active lifestyle. These can essential double as workout and swim - from one activity to the next! The inner layer makes for the duality and truly is a value. They are super lightweight, and this is an essential trait for working out and heavy lifting. The length is a bit shorter than preferred, but due to the comfort factor - outweighs the one change he would make. He has them in black, making them most practical to go with any outfit. Would consider other colors in the future!
When I opened the package I thought they would be too short, but they were in fact just right, even if shorter than what I usually wear. The fabric is very lightweight; it seemed comfortable at first. The waistband is also very comfy as the inner band is soft and flat.Cons: The little pocket at the back seemed like a good idea but it's only slightly bigger than a credit card, so I'd have no use for it, and also the velcro closure looks like it might rip off quickly. The other thing, which might just be a preference, is that I like to warm up with high kicks and these shorts sort of limit the range of movement in that direction.Overall a well-made pair of shorts, just not perfect for *me*.
I wasn't a huge fan of these shorts. There are three main issues that I have with them. First, they ran a bit small. I typically would wear a size 34 and I chose the size medium, which aligned with that waist size and they ended up being a bit tight. The second was the liner. I'm used to wearing other athletic shorts that have a liner that is cut in a boxer-brief style. This style is more brief, which I didn't find very comfortable. Thirdly, I wish the pockets had zippers. They don't and therefore, I don't find them very useful as an athletic short. On the positive side, the fabric itself was quite nice. The shorts are great at moisture wicking and also flexed as needed during my workouts. I think my experience was negatively biased by the wrong size, but overall I ... MoreI wasn't a huge fan of these shorts. There are three main issues that I have with them. I like the style and color of the Nike Challenger Shorts. They fit great at the waist. I prefer my shorts on the longer side when I exercise, run, jog, walk, and play sorts so these shorts were perfect. I liked that the shorts were light weight and allowed airflow so I didnt sweat. Now, these are running shorts and they came with installed mesh underwear. The bands that went around my thighs were a bit tight. I liked the airflow from the mesh but the bands made it uncomfortable. Now if that part was removed or more stretch inclined the shorts would be great. The length, waist and width around the legs of the shorts were perfect.
Long story short, these shorts are incredibly light, comfy to wear on a long, hot run, give way in all the right places, and give support where it's important. The bikini brief style liner leaves a lot to be desired though. In other words, these are great pants for the right person, but unfortunately that's not me.Let's get the negatives out of the way first. The liner needs help. This is my first experience with a brief style liner and I am not a fan. My thighs rub when I run and these shorts do not provide any relief from that. Unless you're sporting a thigh gap make sure you pack the body glide or it'll be chafe-city. The liner doe's have some things going for it though. It's supportive without being restrictive, yet feels like nothings there. To channel my inner Edna, "it breathes like Egyptian cotton" which is great on the road. But you better be changing ASAP, cause it'll smell like a locker room in no time. These shorts do not even make an attempt at odor protection. And I can't walk away without mentioning the almost useless rear pocket. It's big enough for a standard smartphone (leave the phablet at home). The snap button closure is impossible to fumble with while on the move though, so I don't trust my phone in there.Let's end on a positive note now. These are some of the lightest shorts I've ever worn. It's like running au naturale. And yet, I always feel supported and never strapped down, even at max speed. The fit is perfect. I'm 6'0", 193 lb. I wore an XL and thanks to the lengthy drawstring they felt great. I definitely could have worn a size L and still felt as good. All in all I would definitely suggest these shorts to running men who are accustomed to briefs, or are willing to wear compression shorts underneath.
I normally wear an extra large and received an extra large. These fit true to size. They feel really comfortable. I like the design. They aren’t flashy and I feel like they are a standard type of running short. The length is perfect for running, but too short for me to want to wear in public. The fabric is nice. They are lightweight, soft, and breathable. What I like most about the short is that it has multiple pockets and a built in underwear liner that is really soft. The only thing I might change is to make them a little longer so I could wear them in public. I am 6’2.
