Nike Crater Impact Black
The Nike Crater Impact Black offers a visually stunning impact while using recycled materials and more conscientious construction methods in order to achieve a softer impact on the environment. The black iteration of the Nike Crater Impact features an upper of lightweight, breathable black mesh. The black one-piece webbing eyestay system lends both urban flair and efficient craftsmanship. The Nike Swoosh is embroidered in white, reducing scrap waste. A neon green pull tab at the heel facilitates on/off and adds a hit of color that is echoed in the branding on the gray tongue patch. Neon green also appears as the color of the insole, which sports black Nike pinwheel branding. The most impressive aspect of this environmentally conscious and high-performance shoe is its sole. A thick Crater foam midsole in speckled white is built from at least 12% recycled material and offers stability as well as ultimate cushioning. The grippy rubber outsole includes at least 15% recycled Nike grind rubber. The Nike Crater Impact Black was released on August 8, 2021, for $110 retail.

I often struggle with my feet getting tired of shoes as the day goes on (that intense "ahhhh" when you're finally able to take them off) but that just doesn't happen with these shoes! They're roomy but supportive in a perfect way. My toes can wiggle while my arches don't feel like they're falling flat and that's a rare combo in a tennis shoe. I have a slightly wide foot and these shoes hug to the sides of my feet without feeling restrictive (but that could be bothersome for someone with wider feet). Also, a hidden bonus to me-I often have a tough time "breaking" shoes in and end up with a blister on my upper heel/achilles. I'm guessing that is from how the back of tennis shoes are typically structured and these have a different internal set up that just works super ... Largely because I can be a bit of a mess!

I can really get behind Nike's messaging about using recycled material for this shoe. Plus I really do like the way these look. the nylon straps sewn in for laces give it almost a tactical look. Like all Nikes the fit snug, however if you have a narrow foot this will not be an issue. I would recumbent them more as a daily shoe than as ruining or training wear.

I bought these for my dad. He always walks around in dad shoes and complains about shoes he likes being too narrow or too tight on his toes. I ordered these for him and he loves them. The flexible and breathable material is exactly what he was looking for in a sneaker and the soles are comfortable for him as well. He hates getting wide shoes cause they're often too wide. These were perfect for him. Lets just say I'm the best daughter for helping him break the shackles of wearing "dad shoes".

These are like walking on colorful clouds. I have worn them many times over the last few weeks on various surfaces, and I’m a fan! They have very supportive cushioning on the back heel. I've suffered with plantar fasciitis in the past, and the support these shoes provide has been a lifesaver on concrete surfaces. They are a little flashier than shoes I’m used to wearing, but I’ve had multiple comments from friends and family on my stylish new shoes. They fit as expected and clean up easily. My only initial complaint was the bulkiness of the back of the shoe, but they provide so much support that I can look past the huge heel. Maybe the large heel is part of the awesome impact protection and weight distribution. My feet definitely feel better wearing these. 5 stars!
Nike Crater Impact shoes are a great addition for anyone looking for a stylish but supportive activewear shoe. The shoe's design is sleek and is highlighted by a chunky heel which provides needed support. The mesh upper is breathable and allows you to use the shoes for true athletics purposes as well as for a stylish add on for a casual night out.The shoes fit well. They are a little narrow in the arch which is not uncomfortable, but may be an issue if you have wider feet. I suspect that the shoes would start to feel more comfortable after extended use.Overall the Nike Crater Impact show are a light weight, stylish athletic shoe which would be a great addition to any one's sneaker collection.
I’d like to start by saying I’ve been a die hard Nike fan for my whole life. I always love the styling of their products and the comfort is always spot on. These sneakers did not disappoint. They are super trendy without being over the top. The colors are great and they pair so well with all of my Nike sweatsuits. They are ridiculously comfortable and fit like they were made for my feet. I’ve been wearing these shoes for about 2-3 weeks now and they are my new go to sneaker. I can wear them all day with no discomfort, no back pain (that says a lot for being a 45 year old mad), and no sweaty feet. I love the way these shows look and feel and I wouldn’t change a thing about them. Love them and will be buying matching pairs for my sons as well!
Got these in the mail 2 weeks ago and have been wearing them nonstop since. Fit true to size. Not tight in the toe box which is super important to me since I have wide and flat feet. Love the design! It’s hard to make white shoes not boring but I love the neon accents. They’re just enough so my shoes match pretty much all my athletic and leisure wear. I am able to wear it to work all day (I work in healthcare) and then go pick up the kids after school and still go on walks with them after. Love how versatile, stylish, and comfy they are. Extra plus is it’s made from recycled material! They do make a tiny squeak sometimes with walking but that is improving daily with wear.
I wear this product as a "going out" shoe, more casual wear when dressing up nicer to go out. Goes great with shorts and jeans, tshirts or polo shirts. The color is solid and the look is clean. My only issue is I have slightly wide feet so wearing these for a long time or walking a lot is sometime annoying, but that's my feet only. Other than that it's solid shoe.
Possibly the most uncomfortable shoe I have ever bought. I bought them the day before a cross-country trip. I had to wear these for three days. I ended up wearing my dress shoes back home through airports because they hurt my feet so bad. I loved the style, and they fit well in the store. It seemed that my foot was made for these. The cushion was horrible. i would rather walk bare foot.
Company did well with this design, it’s not a generic safe/boring Nike shoe, but a breath of fresh air, with a great level of detailing not captured on film. It looks much better than photos, feels good on the foot, and true to size. The sole is something I’ve never seen before, it has the “wedge” shape of the old (great) Lunarlons, yet with a (strangely) wide heel which makes sense when you use the shoe. Very supportive for lifting heavy in the gym.Only thing I’d charge is to soften the sole a little. Not to the level of the new Free Run (which is another magnificent shoe, but a different kettle of fish), but enough to improve the comfort and flexibility through the midsole.Hats off to the designers, you did a great job here.
