The Tempo Training shorts are very comfortable and lightweight. The mesh panels on both sides provide extra air flow and breathability. The unique name brand design on the front and tan outline on the sides and bottom of the shorts adds a fun pop of color and design. The black & tan combo is fun yet neutral enough to match almost any top. The built in underwear are amazing! They don’t dig into me and they have a “barely there” feeling. The fabric in the crotch area gathers a little bit when walking and I wish they had pockets. However, these are not issues that will keep me from wearing these on a regular basis.
These shorts are great! Lightweight, soft material that feels great when working out or just lounging. The fit of the shorts is flattering and not overly “poofy” as exercise shorts can be sometimes. The mesh lining and side panels keep them very breathable. Bonus that they are made with mostly recycled materials! The off-white/beige trim looks dirty rather than intentional, and the Nike wreath design is a bit over the top, but that’s the only complaint. These check all the boxes for a solid pair of gym shorts.

These are my favorite running shorts! I love the quick dry material and the curved hem is extremely comfortable. I don’t feel constricted at all when running at a comfortable pace or when I’m sprinting. The length is great as I prefer just above mid thigh cut. I also like the adjustable draw string. The liner is comfortable and prefer to have them with ally running shorts. I can easily wear these for my long runs and stay comfortable. I like the color scheme and will definitely grab these a lot.

I have worn Nike tempo training shorts for probably the past 15 years, both for everyday use in the summer and for running/lifting. Recently, all of my old pairs had to be thrown away because I had simply worn them out. This was the first pair of tempo training shorts I had gotten in a long time, and they did not disappoint. They remain my favorite gym shorts. They are comfortable, stay in place, and allow free movement. I do wish they had a pocket as I have really come to like pockets on my gym shorts. Also-the option for a wide waistband would be nice for those of us who are no longer in their 20s. I will definitely continue to buy! Hoping these last me 10-15 years like my old pairs did!
The last time I had worn a pair of Nike tempo shorts was 10+ years ago. I had several pairs in high school and they were my go-to shorts for years - perfect for sports practices. Needless to say, trying a new pair (and larger size) again I was nervous - my body was so different after becoming a mom.However, the comfort and flattering fit were just the same as I remember!The quick dry fabric make them my go-to for workouts and hanging out around the house.
