I have been playing soccer since I was a kid. I am not a professional player but I do play in local tournaments. These cleats are magnificent in so many ways. They are so comfortable and light weight! It feels like I am wearing socks. There was no break-in. I wore them straight out of the box for a friendly game. These Nike cleats are really great. They fit really snug and are not loose when running around with them. I like the all-around design, the round shape and the spikes on the bottom definitely give you a very good grip when maneuvering around the field. The shoes were definitely very comfortable to wear it throughout the entire time I was playing on the field. My feet did not get sore and they were not hurting. They were not too tight. They were just perfect. I really enjoyed playing in these shoes. What I like most about this for the design and the only thing I would change on this is nothing they all are a really great shoe overall.

These shoes run tight around the ankles and take some time getting on initially but they fit my feet like a glove. They are incredibly breathable shoes and my feet don’t sweat nearly as bad as other sport shoes I’ve worn. They seem to perform well on the indoor field, allowing for quick pivots and direction changes. The cleats grip the turf well and because the shoe body first like a second skin, I feel more in tune to the turf and my movements on the field. These shoes also look incredible. I love the orange accents and feel Nike did well with the design and performance of this shoe.

These Nike cleats are really great. They fit really snug and are not loose when running around with them. This review is from my Husband’s POV, as we got the Phantom Gx Elite Fg’s for him:Right out of the box I found that my new Phantom Gx Elite Fg’s are very comfortable, with a lightweight design. I’m digging the black, gray and orange design. I’m picky, but the narrow design fit my wide feet very nicely. Initially I thought the mesh body would not provide a sturdy, confident feel, but after my first cruyff, I was sold. I would recommend the Phantom Gx Elite Fg as ideal for a midfielder or a striker. A defender might find them too lightweight for 90 minutes of an aggressive, deep kicking attack style.Overall I am pretty happy with these and expect to get a lot of use out of them- another great Nike shoe!
I threw on my new Nike Phantom GX Elite FG cleats and started warming up. It did take me a few minutes to get them on with socks, but once I got up, they fit well. I like how light and free my feet feel with them on. I feel like the upper gives a pretty good feel and control of the ball. It has plenty of grip and I had no problems with slipping and sliding. I also like how sleek and nice they look. They have a gray and black fabric with a subtle swirl design. It also has a vibrant orange cleat to accent the look. For long matches, I think they're comfortable enough and I didn't have a problem with my feet getting sore. I also liked that they were wide enough and didn't put too much pressure on the tops of my feet. Nike Phantom Gx Elite Fg is a fantastic soccer shoe. The material is breathable and keeps air flowing to the foot. The inner soles are padded including around the heel of the shoe, which makes it much more comfortable to wear. The spikes of the cleats really grip tight to the ground and that’s always a plus. The color and design of the shoe is modern and sleek. The shoe is pretty tight and not easy to get on if you have a wider foot. It is definitely a slim footed shoe. I don’t know that this is something I could wear all day but it certainly was not uncomfortable to wear when running and playing sports. Overall, I am very pleased with this shoe and would recommend it to other athletes.
The phantom GX is a good all-around cleat. The fit is true to size and they are comfortable out of the box. The mesh is Nike "gripknit". It has good stretch and breathability seems to be more durable than normal mesh. The gripknit has a slight stick to it which gives great feel and control. The off-center laces extend that surface up most of the foot.These shoes provide great grip with good lateral motion. I have only used on firm ground to date.I got in black/grey with orange accents. The cleat is stylish without being over the top loud. I want to stand out for my playing ability- not necessarily my cleats.Overall I am very impressed with these cleats.

The materials are very light weight, lighter than I'm used to with other cleats and I really appreciate the freedom it gives you on the field. The Phantom GX Elite FG's are pretty stiff at first. and it took 2 days of wearing them and walking around the house in them before I felt comfortable taking them out for a real spin. Once broken in, they were more comfortable. I am not playing soccer in any leagues currently, so I called a few friends for a "pick up game." While still just a tad stiff, they worked great!
