Why are all the new kid shoes coming with these silly straps verses the laces? Not a very good look and doesn't accommodate older people who wear the smaller sizes. Nike needs to go back to the original stylish kicks.

Great sturdy shoes for my son who plays a lot of sport, no laces to tie are awesome too, these are his second pair of these.
Got a size 1.5Y for my 6 y.o. son and he likes it. He says it’s very comfortable to run and play in. Only complaint is that the strap is a little shorter than we’d like and he has trouble putting the strap on tightly since it’s so short.
Very cool and easy for little kids with Velcro and elastic laces. Nice wide piece of Velcro also which is good as with some shoes this stops sticking. 4 year old loves them and find easy to run and ember.
These were perfect for my very active 9 year old. Hard wearing while still being comfortable. Great fit and nice looking trainer as well.
I wanted to like these shoes. Got matching shoes for all of my kids. But my kids said that they weren’t comfortable on the sides saying it felt like the shoes were poking them. When I looked inside you can see that the fabric by the ankle suddenly drops off where the rest of the foot is and it rubs against their feet. Will have to return.
Bought these for my 5yr old boy mid January. Hasn't wore them much as only now he gets more wear out of them. The strap has cone away from the velcro n the stiching on the right foot, by the toe has come loose, causing a hole!!! Not happy!!! They were not cheap n expect more from Nike n Very!!!!!
These sneakers look great and fit my son very well. The velcro strap makes them easy to put on and adjust for fit. The only thing I would point out is the heel is quite high so it may not be the best for a super active kid running around all day. Probably better for walking, more casual activities.
