My toddler loves these shoes! He is between sizes so we sized up to the toddler 7C. I think getting the bigger size makes them feel a little bulky but hopefully he will get a lot of wear out of them, as they seem like they are built to last. Even with the bigger size, they were hard to get on his foot until I realized you have to pull the tongue ALL the way forward when you’re putting them on. The elastic on the tongue makes it super stretchy and it holds its shape well. In addition to the sleek look of the shoes, my favorite feature is that they don’t easily slip off my toddler’s foot. They have stayed one as he runs, jumps and plays. The sole is thick and has held up great-even to my toddler dragging his feet on the asphalt. A great pair of shoes! My three-year-old daughter loves them and they are now her "favorite black shoes." I was worried about the fit at first because they look narrow; maybe not the best choice for someone with broad feet. However I actually like that they're a little tighter because they don't slip off her feet at all. They also have a thicker midsole but it doesn't seem to trip her up and if anything she can jump higher and run super fast ("as fast as a mountain lion" if anyone needed a comparison).I don't love the all black look but it does match everything, and these babies go everywhere from the playground to church. I was very excited to receive these in the mail. I finally caught them on a GOOD sale.... But after unboxing them, I just knew I needed to return them. Let me start off by saying that when I opened the box, I noticed how much glue and other gunk was on the shoes. There was also no paper, or paper inserts, but I quickly realized that it was because of the recycled packaging initiative. The shoe literally looked like someone wore them and sent them back. I thought they were fake when I opened them! Not to mention, the manufacturer date was completely different, as if they just put two random shoes together. Regardless if they are the same color shoe, I've never received airmaxs in this bad of a condition, which a manufacturer date had a mix up too. These were for my toddler who wears a size Infant 5 but from the very first time I put them on hers, I could tell they fit but did not look or feel very toddler friendly. The bottom of the shoes are very thick and stiff making it impossible for her to bend it at any place to get good walking form which is important for toddlers as they are learning all about stability and mobility. The fabric is also relatively thick which makes the whole shoe very stiff. It was a challenge to get her feet in these shoes even though they had a slip-on design. We are love our pair of AIR MAX '97 QS. My son (6 years old) is very active and especially loves basketball. These shoes have been perfect for playing basketball outside. They are lightweight, great traction and nice support. I love the black color to keep them looking clean. My favorite feature is the ease of putting them on. Because they have no laces, he can easily slide his foot in on his own. He loves the comfortability and comments frequently how much he enjoys wearing them and how cool he thinks he looks. This is a wonderful pair of shoes, especially if your child is super active and needs a sturdy, comfortable pair of sneakers.

My son, who recently turned 2, wears clothes and shoes a little larger than what’s typical for his age but he grows super fast. I absolutely love the all black Air Maxes. These are SO cute on him. My husband even wants a pair for himself now, so he can match. The only downfall, as with many toddler shoes, is that the tongue is kept secure with elastic bands that stretch to allow for the foot to be put in. Though elastic bands do keep the shoe securely on the foot, it can make it a little more difficult to put on, especially for my son who has chunkier feet. I personally would prefer a loose tongue with a Velcro strap or even laces that allow for the tongue to be pulled back more.

i was searching far and wide for new shoes to run and dance in. after wearing my air force pixels to their death, i knew it was time for me to move on. i wanted something durable, cute, easy to move in, and comfortable. after many hopeless google searches, i saw my best friend's brother post these on his ig story. i fell in love instantly. *they run narrow at the toe* but i have narrow feet so they fit just right for me. i squealed like a pig when i put them on. i felt like i was floating in the air. i learned all the footwork i thought i would never be able to do. get these shoes. take a picture of them with the flash on. then run a mile or dance like nobody is watching. 10/10
