The toe area was plenty wide and felt comfortable for both of us, and I had no issues with fit. My husband found that the side of the lacing area dug into his foot quite a bit—if you have a particularly wide foot and arch you may need to size up slightly. The shaping around the heel feels stiff, and it did rub my heel if my sock is not positioned correctly—not sure this is one I’d want to wear all day.Now, the design: The detailing is simple and looks nice but is not particularly eye catching or outstanding in terms of aesthetics. A simple, clean design and solid option, not flashy or particularly unique. The ribbon detailing along the laces is a nice touch. I did feel that the upper was somewhat shapeless and the look was a little clunky and made my foot look wider/bigger.Overall, this is a well-constructed, nice-looking shoe, but it likely wouldn’t be a top pick for me. My husband was more favorable—if he sized up and the lacing area fit his foot better it would be a good running shoe for him.

I want to preface this by saying that I usually do not write reviews unless someone asks. I am writing this review because this is my all-time favorite shoe and I buy a lot of shoes. I own the Motiva and the Nike Invincible 3. I love them both. They feel similar, like walking on a cloud or a marshmallow. I use this shoe for walking mostly. I average 10,000 steps per day. I used them in Tokyo for 4 days of seemingly non-stop walking. I averaged about 22,000 steps per day. My feet and my legs were not tired the next day, but I did wear them with compression socks. No pain felt anywhere else. I would buy these shoes again without question. I hope they make more colorways for this shoe. I wear an 11.5 and I found them to be true to size. Great breathability.

At first when he pulled them out of the box, he wasn’t keen on the style because the heel is really thick, but once they’re on, it isn’t obvious at all. He’s been wearing them to the gym the past week or so and has loved them! He mostly lifts and does some light cardio on the elliptical and has relayed to me that these are great for both. This shoe runs true to size and the 9.5 (his usual size), has been fitting perfectly. The design is all around great. I think men may be easier to please than women in the footwear department, ha! I can’t speak too much on durability yet because he’s only been wearing them for a couple weeks, exclusively to the gym, but I’m happy to do a follow up down the road! He is notoriously hard on his footwear (and everything else), so I’m hoping they can hold up. He says they’re super comfortable, so I’m sure, at some point, he will start wearing them as a primary shoe instead of just gym wear. That will be the true test of comfort and durability.
