Amazing pair of shoes. First day with them and no leg or back pain which I get sometimes from shoes. I work in a bakery and we are required to wear work non slip shoes so these pass because of the grip for all weather running. So stylish and I already convinced my sister to get a pair for our restaurant and my co workers to get them! And water proof too!

I bought my pair of Nike Shield sneakers in November of 2023. I was very disappointed that after 3 1/2 months the bottom sole broke. This is the second pair of Shield sneakers I buy the first ones lasted a lot better but I am so disappointed with this recent purchase as they didn’t last long. I love Nike brand but not happy about what happened with these ones.

I have had issue for about a week and I've running it everyday and I am in love. I've never had a shoe that kept my feet warm and dry like these. I have run and rain sleet and snow all this week and they've outdone themselves by keeping my feet, especially my toes, warm and dry. I am so happy. I ordered a second pair for work. They feel better some work boots Forest keeping my feet warm. Thankfully they do not make the squeaking sound that others have been referring to. I am not sure what that is about but they do have good grip and stability when running on the road or track.
I loved my Pegasus Shield 38. I was super excited to get the 39s and I’m really disappointed in them. They make a popping sound every step in the upper toe area. The fleece lined tongue of the 38 was such a nice and noticeable touch that I really liked, and the 39 just doesn’t compare. I also felt like the 38 cradled my forefoot better. Just took them for a spin in wet conditions and my feet stayed dry which is the main reason I got them. They look great but I just don’t love them. Also, the ivory color is a lot more white than it looks in the picture. I think they fit true to Nike size.
Not waterproof !I got this a while ago and got a chance to test for waterproof or water resistance function today. It is not !This Pegasus 39 shield is much more comfortable compared to 37 shield.However 37 shield is literally waterproof ! I never got my socks soaked with 37 Shield.Now my socks are literally soaked with rain with 39 Shield.Nike Team, pls combine the comfort of 39 Shield and the waterproof and no tie shoelaces function of 37 Shield !!Thanks for reading and I'm hoping for a new version !
I’m going to give it two stars because I love the shoe, the fit and comfort are 100% great however after the second wear the right foot shoe’s outsole is falling apart. For the price, I expect the quality to be long lasting. Disappointed. It’s past my 30 day window return but I hope Nike can replace them.
Got them today, they look great, comfy, my feet feel secured in them with full confidence my feet wouldnt get wet. Except, I listened to the reviews about sizing up a half or full size. Mistake on my part. Seems like Nikes runs true to size (depending on the person's feet I guess) mine are swimming in these. Im usually a 7.5 and got an 8. Ill have return them, Unfortunately, they're all out of size 7.5. Bummer. Giving it 4 stars bc they do make a loud popping sound...shouldn't matter if you're running in them though.
Great comfort, color and style, but the waterproof “shield” material makes them too darn noisy! Noise was less of a squeak and more of a sound similar to folding plastic - like squeezing a plastic water jog. I didn’t realize I was buying the “shield” version until til they arrived - will not purchase another shield style.
So disappointed!! Also, compared to all my other Nikes it runs way small. I have a size 9 in all other pairs but this one had to go up a full size.I loved the last edition of the Pegasus Shields. This one does not have the same level of comfort or stability though! Not nearly as much cushioning as the old model. Also, the toe box has no structure. it is basically the same as the regular pegasus but it feels like it's been dipped in rubber.
