They fit the shape of my foot well and have been reliable when I have needed to make sharp turns to keep my daughter from falling down when we are playing outdoors.I only wish the shoe was more aesthetically pleasing. I was disappointed when I first opened the box and tried the shoes on, because the outward shape of the shoe has a dramatic contrast between the cuboid bone on the side of the foot and the rest of the shoe. However, once I started moving around and working, I never noticed their shape again. Even when I look in the mirror, I no longer consider the concerns I had before.Altogether, the Nike Pegasus 41 GORE-TEX Men's Waterproof Road Running Shoes have proven to be very reliable and effective for long days on my feet and for walking and running. You could maybe go an half size up, but ultimately that’s up to your preferred running fit. Also, the arches are made for someone with a more moderate arch, whereas mine are more on the high side.Style-wise, the black pair is very reserved, which I enjoy. Monochromatic, with most of the visual intrigue given by the almost mildly reflective GORE-TEX Invisible Fit tech, this color way is an easy choice when it comes to daily wear that you don’t have to overthink. These are far from other “over-styled” designs that are much busier, which you see from many runners.When it comes to performance, these are no slouch. I typically jog shorter distances for time’s sake, but these would fit well into the rotation for medium distance runners who are in similar environments to me. Very lightweight, and won’t bog you or your times down. The Nike Storm-Treads are grippy for surfaces like road or dirt/trails, so you can trust your steps.I didn’t take the “waterproof” part as seriously until trying them myself, but these surprised me with how hydrophobic they are. Water beads up and rolls right off, which makes these pretty easy to clean as well, should you get into any mess. That ease-of-use makes these a great candidate for a daily wear.All-in-all, I’m a fan of these shoes. My wishlist for changes is short, consisting only of widening the mildly narrow fit, and a little more support in the arches. My favorite bits are how easy they are to clean, the laid-back, understated presentation, and their overall breathability for how much protection they offer.Much love to the team for allowing me to test these out!

Lately I've been running 3 miles most of the times since I'm preparing for a 5k next year. Therefore, it is very important to me to have a shoe that is comfortable on the foot and light when running. Personally, I like that the shoe offers amazing support on the soles and it feels so light when I'm running. In terms of the design I like that it's very sleek and I liked the black color way since it matches with a lot of my running outfits. I like that this shoe is something I could take to run errands and then hit a quick run after. If there was anything that I could change about the shoe it would probably just be inner shoe soles. I personally prefer having memory foam soles. This is just a personal preference that I understand may only apply to me. Overall, I think this is a great shoe for small distance runs and for light, casual physical activity. I would like to see some more color ways in the lighter colors. If I could get this in some neutral tone colors I would definitely grab another pair.
