Bought these for my dad

I bought these for my dad. He has two autoimmune diseases- lupus and rheumatoid arthritis. He is a business owner and stands most of the day. He loves to go to the gym/workouts out home and tries his very best not to let his autoimmune diseases get the best of him. Every once in awhile he will get a flare up so he is in a lot of pain. I wanted to get him a nice pair of comfortable sneakers for the holiday. I did some research and came across these. They were affordable and had pretty good reviews. My dad loves them!!! He has had less flare ups, weras them every day and are super comfortable! I am so glad they provide some sort of relief to his every day pain!

Purchasing these shoes was a no brainer, the PG line has keeps dishing out basketball shoes for all different types of players. With the PG 4’s the Cushion is great, the inclusion of the zipper overlay is a cool and different innovation for Basketball shoes! My only flaw with the shoe is it’s overall snug fit, I would recommend to definitely get a full size bigger and maybe a size and a half bigger than what you normally wear. Overall a great shoe to get buckets in!

I just recently purchased these for my younger brother and I and we agreed that they're one of the most comfortable basketball sneakers we've ever worn and that it felt like you were wearing a pair of socks with foam underneath. However, the sizing is really strange. He usually wears a size 14 and I a 16 (I ordered mine on Nike's website due to the size not being available in the color I wanted) and neither of us could even get our foot fully in the shoe nor zip it up. I found out they run quite small and was told we both needed to size up since the padding in the back of the shoe pushes your foot forward by about 1 cm or so, so definitely size up at least a whole size (or more if your foot is wide) for a better fit. Other than that, the shoe is great to play in and ... MoreI just recently purchased these for my younger brother and I and we agreed that they're one of the most comfortable basketball sneakers we've ever worn and that it felt like you were wearing a pair of socks with foam underneath. Great aesthetics, poor design
31 December 2020

The shoe runs VERY small. Almost 2-3 sizes small as a size 10 feels like an effervescent squeeze around the bridge and top of the foot. The shoe "zips" and over cradles your foot when placing it on. I'd recommend ordering a size or two sizes bigger than your true size to fit comfortably. You could "force" your foot into these shoes but if you're responsible about your well being I wouldn't recommend it. Disappointing purchase I took to finish line and immediately exchanged them for Lebron Witness V's. I would buy them again but they didn't have my size at the store that would fit the small fit.

Huge Fan of the PG 1's and 2.5
6 July 2020

So ive been wearing PG's since the 1's. It seems he's starting to move away from comfort and more about style. The 1's and 2.5 are my favorite for a few reasons. One i love the top of the toe strap for support and also how the design of the shoe keep you on your toes. The 3's i wasnt that big of a fan support wasnt there and the insoles felt like you were almost running bare foot. Now The 4's All though they look sleek almost like the throwback Gloves.... the insoles and the Achilles area very padded and rightfully so after all the injuries or the past few years. But i found they were very restricted made the shoe run small and it was hard to Replace and the zipper all the cool looking wasnt good. I had to return these because they just we're for me. I will never go back!

So they bought out the finish line in omaha and I HATE them. They only give you one shoe to try on and then if u find 3 pairs they scan each shoe and bring u one at a time...this is the dumbest system EVER!!! Like some1 gonna run out the store with 3 shoes and no match...idk if they came from a city where people run off with shoes, but that's not a thing here! If I could give them 0 I would...HORRIBLE don't go if u want a reasonable shopping experience

Nasty customer service
7 August 2023

I went to the Middletown Galleria in Ny with my 20 year old daughter who needs sneakers for her upcoming semester at college. She wanted to go to "JD" because apparently it's the place to buy sneakers. I was ignored at first as her mom, so I went to the register with sneaker in hand for my daughter to try on. I was again ignored while the sales woman danced and sang to the music playing on their sound system. Finally she acknowledged me and looked at me. Didn't say how can I help, just looked at me. I said can she try this in a size 7. After some more ignoring and singing she said I will bring it to you. I felt shooed away. As we waited , she brought me one sneaker. She was so bothered. My daughter tried on the 1 sneaker. I went back to register and said can I have the other one? With a sigh and frustration she said " well every one is different, I give one sneaker!" I said for the amount of money I'm going to spend I think my daughter can try on both sneakers. She said "so you want the other sneaker!?" I said maybe I'm old but yes I think she needs to try on both. With a sigh and an ignore for 10 seconds I got the other one. By the way my daughter was extremely embarrassed by me as her mom. I mean really??! What did I do? So she tried on both sneakers, they fit. We left sneakers and walked down to Champs. We were met by a very friendly person and bought the same sneakers. So JD lost our sale because of their employee. So thought you should know to avoid the nasty sales woman!!

The 1st pair at a price point that lured me in to buy online impressed me so much that I ordered a my teenage son a pair and myself a 2nd pair this time in the Red/Black/& Dark Blue scheme priced nearly $25 more. I'm writing this review now while returning to order a 3rd pair of a different color. I find they fit nice 1 size up from usual which is the same for me in my Shox, & Shox TL. In fact a bit slightly too snug when I first put them on but within a day broke in just fine. The top side support feels like slipping into a space age sock that's supported with laces and a zipper. This combined supportive system is on point engineering that's both functional and attractive. I wear them while walking and standing on smooth concrete floors of a very large retail facility for up to 4 hours without a break. A recent close inspection shows no signs of abnormal wear or separation. They have seen a good bit of mileage and traction still has a like new appearance.
