I bought these shoes for my boyfriend as a Christmas gift, and the shoes came fast, however, when they arrived, it looks as if someone has already worn them! They also came with no paper. There are a few dirt spots on them. I will be returning them!

If you're buying this shoe, chances are you've heard the controversies surrounding this shoe. From personal experience, I can attest that it feels like cheating wearing these. I haven't gone for a run yet in these things, but every step I take with these on feels like there's something spring-boarding me forward. It's like there are booster rockets on my feet. Moving forward has never felt so effortless before. They're also true to size: I usually buy half a size higher but I didn't need to with these because they would have fit perfectly in my actual size.I'm not giving these five stars because they do feel a bit unstable. My ankles feel more wobbly in these than another other shoe I've worn. But, hey, that could be a good thing what with ankle mobility and all. ... MoreIf you're buying this shoe, chances are you've heard the controversies surrounding this shoe. Another reason that's discouraging me from giving these shoes 5 stars is, like you've probably heard, there's a bunch of extra room in the back of the shoe. Whenever I take a step, it low-key feels like my foot will slip right out.Oh yeah, and they're comfy as heck.

These are excellent racing shoes, obviously top of the line with great carbon/foam bounce. However, the shoes Dick's sent me where obviously worn, either as a returned good, or as a demo pair. Normally I wouldn't care, but these are $250 shoes with a life span of roughly 250 miles, so selling a pair as new if say 20-30% of their lifespan is gone is a bit bogus in my mind.

I ordered this shoe for my mom for Mother’s Day this year…. I knew it was bad when I opened the box and the paper in the box look like someone balled it up and put it back in there. I then pulled the shoes out and they smelled like that had been sitting in someone’s home for a while and the color was coming off on the side! I can’t wait to return them to the store this weekend!!!! However the shoe is a great shoe but sucks I received a used pair!! My 3 stars is because of the pair I received!! I’ve gotten them from another store with no issues!
I ran my first half marathon in these and I absolutely love them. I have Brooks too and have run for over 5 years in them but what I Vaporfly is right at the top. It's light and comfy. The only downside I noticed was it is little narrow. Otherwise, it's just awesome.
These are remarkable running-specific shoes. Not the greatest value unless you can score these on sale, which I had. Great cushion and breathability. Carbon Fiber plate is well designed; cushion combined with rocker design really helps propel. I am not as much a fan of the mesh material upper on this compared to the previous version. The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that these shoes do not provide the lockdown on the forefoot and security around the ankle that I enjoy compared to the Adios Pro or even prior version of this shoe. While I like the rocker in this a lot, proper lockdown for me is even more important. If you are in the market for these, be sure to try the Adidas Adios Pro 2. Shoes fit true to size.
These are the most comfortable, effective running shoes I've ever used. They are like running on clouds, like your feet are on springs. I used to have knee pain while running, which I don't anymore since wearing these. Sooo much easier on the joints than other running shoes, I can imagine they'll probably prevent wear on the joints that haven't been damaged yet by running. They are rather delicate, so I would only wear them on pavement, a running track, or the treadmill. These are NOT casual wear or trail running shoes, and if you buy them with the expectation they'll last through these activities, you'll be very disappointed. Don't use them for running on gravel, up/down the stairs, tree roots, etc. I use them for treadmill and outdoor running on pavement, and ... MoreThese are the most comfortable, effective running shoes I've ever used. I had been researching these for several months and bought a pair when they were on sale. When I received them, I saved them for a week or so. I ran one, 9 mile run in them and the heel on the outsole began to wear. I was running on the road, avoiding any rough surfaces and this still happened. The midfoot was also narrow and it felt like my foot was going to roll off the side. On the positive side, the carbon plate and thick, springy midsole provide a great response and propulsion to your stride. The reduction in the amount of work that is done in the ankles is noticeable and the onset of fatigue is postponed to further into the run. They are a great shoe and extremely lightweight. I guess I'm just more of a Pegasus guy.
In a word, FAST! I purchased this shoe for an upcoming half marathon, race day shoe. Wanting to make sure that I could run in it before the return period passed I took it out for a Tempo run. Wow, now I hate all my other shoes! This is a great shoe for any type of speed work or racing, I would NOT recommend this shoe for slow runs as the shoe really wants to go fast. It. I cannot speak to the longevity of the shoe as I have only had it about a month but with my experience so far... Highly recommend!
Finally caved after all the hype- The only drawbacks I have are the padding on the heel collar doesn’t sit snugly on top of my heel but just below. Kinda wish there was more space in the heel area regarding the padding But maybe it’s just my heel. Lacing can be tricky to get if you have a little bit of a wider foot, especially on top of foot/ankle area of laces. The PRs are worth these drawbacks I don’t notice them while running.
