Nike Winflo 9 Premium Men's Road Running Shoes Size 10.5 (White)

My husband has knee issues and looks for a shoe that will help keep the pain away. The Nike Air Winflo 9 running shoes has the perfect amount of cushion to absorb the shock from running or walking on hard pavement. The shoes are true to size and fit like a glove without constraining. The material is lightweight and breathable, a definite must in summertime. Purely a personal preference, my husband did not care for the Nike running shoe print on the heel of the shoe. Anesthetically, he would have liked it to be solid black. The only real complaint my husband had was in regards to the outside foam lining the shoes. As you bend and flex the shoes, the foam tends to wrinkle a lot. Initial thought: The Winflo 9’s silhouettes are inviting and simple. To be honest, they fit my personal aesthetic closely. The super breathable mesh upper feels almost identical to the more expensive Pegasus series (38 in particular).When putting on the shoes, the fit initially felt true to size. I tend to wear shoes a half size up because I have wider feet – and I put these shoes through the ringer as soon as I opened the box. I quickly realized that perhaps they need more breaking in than I had hoped, because my feet were very sore from the compression along the sides. I think this is partially do to the upper being a solid one-piece construction, which I’d assume would be great for everyone except those with much wider feet. The soles were incredibly cushy and sprung back from my own pronated heel strike, providing a soft step which helped my own pace along.Overall, these are a great looking pair of shoes for those who may want to have a daily 1-4 miler, especially for the money. I am not personally in the 5+ miles per day club so I can’t attest to the longevity of running with these shoes.Now we arrive to what I would change… I think the first thing I’d probably do is re-construct the upper to have more flexibility, or, better yet, make the sizing in wide as well. I’ll be happy to throw these on to walk the dog around the park, but I don’t think these would hold up well comfort-wise for a 5k+.

The first feature that was a favorite was how lightweight the shoes were both on and off, they are both light on your feet and light to hold. My husband stated that he liked how his feet didn’t like he had weights on by the end of the day from his shoes weighing him down. The shoes have a great comfort level to them, he was able to wear them on a concrete floor all day without his feet hardly bothering him. We loved the simple design of the shoe because it allowed it to be a great every day shoe to go with every outfit but also a great simple sneaker to wear with a business causal look. The only thing we didn’t like is how one swoosh looks unfinished on one side of each sneaker because it’s not outlined like the other. My husband did state that the shoes felt tight when you first put them on but they loosened up and became comfortable once walking around in them.
