Unboxing this shoe was very exciting. As soon as I opened the box and seen the drawstring bag I was ready to throw the shoes in the bag and head to the park. From the vibrant orange color with the hints of highlighter green in the air bubbles, I was super excited because these are colors runners love. The colors also reminded me of the leaves on trees as autumn is approaching or finally here. Just having vibrant colors as these makes runners more visible when running at night. The ergonomic design and foamy bottom gives the sense of running on a cloud. The material of the shoe itself feels paper thin but is feels durable and more breathable than other running shoes. Unfortunately I was not able to get the shoes on my feet because it runs small. As I tried to pull the back up the shoe out with the heel tag to give some leverage to allow my heel to slip in, it was extremely impossible and I continued to struggle to get the shoes on. This was mostly due to the shoe being too small in size and width. I recommend getting at least a half size bigger than your normal shoe size, especially for someone with wider feet.

I absolutely love these shoes. The color is so bright and draws the attention of nearly everyone that passes. The one con is that they are very narrow. I've never considered my feet to be very wide but definitely had some issues getting my feet into these shoes. I had to loosen and remove the shoe strings from the top laces to get my feet in. Now, once my feet were in the shoe, it felt like I was walking on a cloud. The shoes are very springy and breathable and very easy to walk/jog around in. I have a bad back (herniated lower disc) and felt absolutely no discomfort in my lower back after wearing these for several days straight. It was cold while I was wearing these but I can easily see myself wearing these during the summer months due to the extreme breathability. ... MoreI absolutely love these shoes. From the moment I opened the box I was obsessed and couldn't wait to put them on. Not only are they super stylish and modern, the fluorescent orange screams FUN, which I adore adding elements of fun into my wardrobe any way I can. I've been beyond impressed so far though and am excited to make these part of my daily workouts.

I find it hard to slow down often times after picking up some speed, as the shoes give me a noticeable push every time my heel comes off contact from the ground. Right out of the box I was a bit startled by the design of the shoe. It looks a bit alien with the heel being triangular in shape and protruding past where regular shoes stop. The design of the shoe would easily call attention to your footwear and I, unfortunately, am not a person that likes to call attention to themselves. However, while I was a bit apprehensive about the shoe, my husband, an ex-marathon runner, picked up the shoe with delight and couldn't stop talking about all the design features that would be great for runners.That brings me to the feel of the shoe. The shoe fit perfectly and was true to size. However, the design is set up so that your weight is shifted to the soles of your feet instead of your heels. However, while I was a bit apprehensive about the shoe, my husband, an ex-marathon runner, picked up the shoe with delight and couldn't stop talking about all the design features that would be great for runners.That brings me to the feel of the shoe. The shoe fit perfectly and was true to size. However, the design is set up so that your weight is shifted to the soles of your feet instead of your heels. My husband was so excited about that feature because it would give you better form while running. I, myself, am not a runner so it definitely felt weird at first. I kept feeling like I was going to rock backwards and fall (which never happened). I did get used to my balance being shifted and these shoes ended up being really comfortable to wear all day. The shoes are really light and have so much support that your feet feel really great.My favorite part of the shoe is the mesh covering on the top of the shoe and how the laces were threaded (it isn't your typical eyelets). When you have the shoes on the mesh hugs your feet and makes them feel snug. However, the mesh doesn't stretch very well and putting your feet into the shoes is a work out. I first tried the shoes on with my winter socks and I couldn't get my feet into the shoes. So I went for a thinner sock and it was a struggle to get the feet in.I would definitely recommend this product for an athletic friend. I don't think this is the type of shoe to casually hang out at home and hit the grocery store.
If you can test these out in person and try them on to find your right size - these would be 5 stars and PERFECT! These shoes unfortunately run really small and narrow. I am usually a size 6W but I think I would even be comfortable going one whole size up with these. My right shoe is a lot more comfortable than my left shoe, and I am assuming this is because of the wrong sizing and causing the back part of the shoe to dig into my ankle. I am a big fan of bright-colored athletic shoes, as I am typically a neutral-colored everyday shoe person, so the lime green soles and light aqua knit is super cute to me. The colorway is fun for athletic wear.
I've been trying the Air Zoom Alphafly Next% shoes out - and unfortunately - they're much less comfortable than I hoped!To start, they look like they won't wear well over time. The top is very thin and it looks like the fabric will wear out over multiple uses - especially if I use them to run and work out often. Second, I found them *very* difficult to put on - I needed a shoe horn! Ideally It wouldn't take a major effort, sitting down, with both arms pulling on the shoes, to get them over my heel- but that's what these shoes required. When I finally did get them on, they fit snugly, and before walking around, were comfortable.I took them on multiple walks, and overall, it felt like I was walking an a bouncy house! Further, the back of the heel was high and rubbed during most of my walks (in fact, after one 20 minute walk, the skin started wearing off and I had to take the shoes off immediately when I got home). I do have flat feet, and the arch support was good in the shoe, which I apprecaite.Overall, I found the shoes very hard to get on, and they were not comfortable after about 5 to 10 minutes of walking so unfortunately I cannot recommend the shoes to others at this time.
