The Zoom Fly 3 has been designed for running longer distances. The Vaporweave upper is light of weight and has a semi-transparent look. It offers high breathability which keeps the feet cool when running. The thin fabric doesn't sponge up water, thereby ensuring that the shoes stay lightweight in every condition and throughout your runs. The lace system and the supportive strap at foot arch height offer stability to the feet and comfortably enclose the feet without becoming too rigid. The midsole of the Nike Zoom Fly 3 is made of Nike's popular React material. This material is famous for providing a high energy return and a responsive feel. A carbon-fibre plate is fitted in between the layers of React-foam. This plate functions as a spring; it propels you forward when running and adds to the responsive feel of these competition running shoes. The heel has been designed to release tension off of the Achilles tendons. Rubber pieces added to the heel and forefoot function as outsole, thereby minimizing the weight of the Zoom Fly 3, but also adding to their durability.
