Be confident in your weekly workout and shatter your personal best with a durable shoe that goes everywhere from your daily runs to the finish line of your favorite race. It offers comfort and reliability, but with the feel of propulsion for added speed and coolness. This level of versatility is rare in the running world. But who says you can't have it all? The newly integrated ZoomX foam in the midsole takes an already reliable and well-loved shoe to a level of performance not previously seen in the Zoom Fly 4. This addition makes the cushioning system lighter and more responsive. Take advantage of these versatile features to free up your stride, gain speed and have fun during your run. The forefoot and heel are slightly wider to create a stable platform, perfect for tackling turns and long runs with confidence. The full-length articulated plate offers a propulsion feel and smooth transitions at any pace. It provides a forward rolling feel that propels you to the finish line. The upper is made of lightweight mesh for a softer, more breathable shoe that conforms to the shape of the foot. Dynamic lacing and a snug fit wrap the midfoot for a contoured, secure fit.

The Nike Zoom Fly 5 Shoe is different. It is a comfortable, elegant and safe product. Your solate protects you from rocks, holes and unevenness. However, what makes it special and the responsiveness of your board, which will make you "fly".

Runs larger; not cushioning nor springy; recycled zooms foam sank and does not rebound back before next stride; carbon fiber plate doesn’t help at all; the rubber outsole wears out too quickly and doesn’t grip on any pavement nor concrete sidewalks. The gaps among the foam peanuts ruins the performance. Foam peanuts move toward the gaps rather than return energy back to feet. It’s Very loud on every stride. Lack of arch supports (no support at all). Shoe leashes are not secure at all. Hoka Bondi performs much better (except heavier than ZoomFly 5)

Lasted 250 miles so far and still feel great I’m a heavy footed runner and normally don’t get that much out of a shoe it’s on of my favorite shoes I’ve had very bouncy and responsive but definitely a bit heavy

The ZoomFly 5 has no place in a rotation. It is cumbersome and clunky, not what you want during tempo runs. The plate is useless, you feel it but there is no "pop" and makes the shoe even more uncomfortable. The ZoomX you're expecting is nonexistent. By using the scrap and a carrier foam all the benefits you've come to expect from ZoomX are gone. This upper is decent, I found it to be the best part of the shoe but that is not saying much. The lockdown was fine for me and it fits true to size with some room to spare in the forefoot. The midsole is where this shoe just falls apart. It is heavy lacks any road feel and doesn't give you the energy return like the real ZoomX. This shoe is nothing more than a marketing gimmick. Nike really needs to step it up! The latest updates to their running shoe lines have all been disappointing. From the Alpha fly to the Invincible run 3 all letdowns from the previous versions. Oh, I almost forgot the sole. The rubber pads are very soft and wear extremely fast the windowed portion of the shoe also sucks down and I can feel and hear it when walking on my hardwood floors. It creates a suction cup effect, which is the last thing you want when training. I really tried to love this shoe, but as I stated in the title it just doesn't fit anywhere. It isn't comfortable for long/ recovery runs, too heavy and cumbersome for a tempo shoe, and not good enough for a daily trainer. I just don't get what Nike was trying to accomplish with this update.
Brilliant price and a quality comfortable running Shoe . Delivered fast and would definitely recommend
This is my 3rd pair of Zoom Fly 5, I love them, probably the best design from Nike.
Very comfortable. True to fit. I would recommend these if like a good running shoe with style to match.
The cushion on both shoes seems unstable. When I run or even walk the foot rolls inward. Also I get Achilles pain on my left foot every time I run on this shoe, seems like got an defective pair.
