The multidirectional traction pattern is a map of Akron—an ode to LeBron's roots and the city he continues to pour into. The large forefoot Air Zoom unit is curved to bend in multiple directions. It provides energy return for fast and responsive cornering and offers a flexible court feel that moves naturally with your foot. A top-loaded Air Zoom unit in the heel adds cushioning. The foam in the midsole feels soft and smooth while helping keep you low to the ground and enhancing the sensation of court feel.

Definitely the best hoop shoe I have tried in a while. For reference I am a smaller more explosive guard. The midsole is definitely firmer than the Lebron 20 but it isnt uncomfortable by any means. I prefer the firmer midsole in the nxxt gen as it is in the goldilocks zone of being soft enough for comfort but firm enough to give some bounce. The traction is also great in both solid and clear outsoles. I noticed the clear picked up more dust but was stickier than the solid. Both are phenomenal. Lockdown and containment was great as well. I ordered these in a size too big and I didnt even notice my foot sliding around despite having wayy too much room.

I purchased these for my son who absolutely loves them. He had been wanting them as soon as they were released but to keep him focused on his sports and school grades, I ended up surprising him not too long ago with getting them delivered to his door for staying on top of all his responsibilities! So proud of my son and thanks to this site, I am able to reward him with his favorite things...shoes!

Son said they are a little stiff compared to the LBJ twenties. Probably due to the material. Cushion is on point with great traction. They lock down incredibly well when you lace them up. Give them time to warm up to your feet (aka break in). Enjoy those colorways on sale!

Order a size up for sure. This pair of shoes is beautiful chaos. They’re even more dope in person. I love colorful shoes when the colors work together and somehow these work great together. I think they’re the coolest shoes I ever did see, and I’m ordering a second pair - maybe even three.
This shoe definitely has color that pops. The only negative is that the colors are so bold that the shoes sometimes look like clown shoes. The shoe is comfortable, although it could stand to be more breathable. The Nike markings on the shoes are great as well.
Historically, Lebrons have felt too heavy for my personal taste. But these NXXT shoes are now my official go-to shoes. I've been wearing them 2-3x per week for rec league games and pick-up and they've held true and through. They're light, ankle-snug, and look awesome. I used to wear Zion 2s for the ankle cushioning; even wore Steph's ankle braces with Kobe's, but now officially switched to this series and now I'm brace free and Zion free.I double sock, so I size a 1/2 size up. They take about 1 pick-up session to break-in but after that, it's like they learned to confirm to your feet and style. Highly recommend.Note: first time ever leaving a review for a shoe and I've been buying Nike products for over 2 decades (and I'm on the bike all daily...)
We purchased these because my son absolutely loves basketball and Lebron James. He plays basketball daily. Unfortunately these shoes did not hold up at all. Less than 2 full months of having them and he wore a hole in the soles. We were a bit disapointed in the quality. I would not recommend for people that do a lot of outdoor basketball!
I bought these a few weeks ago, and I am a big fan. I loved the original NXXT Gens. The cushioning and rear foot support were fantastic. The only thing I wanted more from them was a little more support in the toe box, which has been added to the AMPD. This colorway uses a plastic coated material to reinforce the upper, improving lateral stability in the front of the shoe on hard cuts. Only note is that since there is less give in that area than the last ones, it will take more time to break in, and you may need to go up half a size if you thought the originals were a bit snug.
This is a great concept first. More rubber/ plastic than realized and very tight on the foot. Might not help with wide feet. They will definitely needing to get used to. Right now they are back in the box and used as a “show sneaker”
these shoes are really comfortable and stylish. they also last a long time.I don't know why people are writing a bad review when they are playing the wrong sport for the shoes. Of course the toe is going to fall apart, it is not made for that sport.
