At first, I thought that I wouldn’t be able to run anything longer than maybe my speed intervals but then I tried them out on a 5K on a treadmill, and they were like running on clouds. They’re very lightweight and not at all clunky and they’ve got a nice bounce to them. I would say give them a try a few times before you count them out. I was used to the Pegasus and something a lot more solid on the souls of the shoe and it took me a little bit of time to kind of get used to them and now that I’m used to them I absolutely love them.

I don't run a lot of 5k's. Coming off a half marathon personal best I ran a personal best 10k and was going for the same in a 5k. I usually just run in a pair of my training shoes, but thought a lighter pair would help in a shorter distance. Any excuse for a new pair of running shoes.Out of the box my first thought was amazement at how light they are! My shoe rotation includes the zoomx invincible 1 and 2's, vomero 16's and the brooks adrenaline. None of which are particularly light.First time on my feet the upper felt like tissue paper with a zoomx lower. The upper did not feel flexible. Almost plasticky, but not a major issue. Second run felt better. A little more broken in for me or the shoes. Just two 5k runs to check them out before the race.5k Race day, they felt great. Missed my personal best slightly, but it was 90% humidity so not the shoes fault. Honestly the shoes just disappeared on my feet. I was 24th out of 254 people. So I'm not the fastest guy out there. 8:35 miles.Post mortem, the shoes have a total of 10 miles on them. I can see wear on the outsole. Some of it kind of looks like galling. The outsole material feels so soft I don't expect it to last. Took a picture, but I'm not sure if the wear will show.Post mortem, my feet are a little more sore than typical post race. Reasonable to expect given the reduced cushioning for the lighter weight. A fair trade.I will keep these shoes for 5k races and a couple of faster training runs leading up to them. Keeping the miles down. I don't think I would run a 10k in these, but maybe. Spectacularly light and surprisingly comfortable. If I was going to change one thing I'd make the cushioning very slightly firmer. I felt like maybe I was bottoming them out on race day.

I am an experienced marathoner with 20+ events. Boston qualifier. Use this shoe even on my long runs. Great lockdown, plenty of room to splay the toes, good impact absorption, very comfortable. Midfoot strikers best friend. Not sure if heel strikers would do well in them. Will use these in my next event.

These are marketed as racers, but at this price i bought them as a training shoe. I knew the flyknit weave is the best there is for keeping your feet cool. Not only that but the white colourway and simple design means these can be worn as a fashion shoe too. Perfect for having that one shoe for holiday. These are very comfy for my wider than average feet. They feel very similar to my vapourfly shoesSports direct delivered the shoe promptly to my nearest store
These shoes are possibly my favorite shoe right now. Perfect for easy runs or speed runs, or even longer runs. I’ve taken them out on 5K-10K runs and even up to 10 miles a few times. 200 miles easy in my initial pair, but I could keep using them if I wanted to. I have 7 pair total. And I’m loving the track/AF/VF laces on these latest models. They’re fire, comfy & I use them to train & to just chill at home or work. V2 looks promising & different, but I don’t know if I’d rock the V2s as lifestyle.
Yes, have the Vaporflys and the Alphaflys. Just bought the Streakflys for an upcoming 10k in a couple of weeks. First of all, you have to train a bit in your racing flats, so did an 8 mile, with 1 mile at 7 per and 1 mile at 5:15, trying to go under 31. The good: great upper, super breathable and roomy with good lock down and lace system. Great heel counter, once again great lock down and feel with the bumpers. Good cushion at the metatarsals for a good forefoot ride. The bad: already falling apart, I've only done 8 road miles on them and the traction is already wearing//wha?? Also, it seems that the magic foam I love so dearly seems to be creasing and is a bit pieced together. Really weird, I'm afraid a chunk is going to fall off mid run. No rocker to bring you ... No rocker to bring you through your gait and you gotta work for it as it these things are flexible..really flexible. Don't feel the shank at all. I did hit my target times, but I hope they last another 8 miles or I'm out. I'm surprised people are putting these into their rotation. I'm 145, 6', and an efficient runner, they should not be falling apart at this phase. Boy, if Nike put even a 3/4 plate and a bit of rocker with more traction these would be the bomb. But, right now I will not be reordering a pair of these. I'm bummed. Nike, your killing me!!!! So close!
TL:DR -->. this shoe feels very similar to the last iteration of the Zoom Elite 9. Light and flexible, pretty soft underfoot with good return. If you are 175lbs+ you may feel some bottoming-out sensation running downhill or if you are a heel-striker. Definitely best for an efficient runner with a mid-foot strike. Very flexible throughout the foot, so you don't get the same rockered rolling push-off like you get in the carbon plate shoes like the Vaporfly or Alphafly. Maybe a hair soft for my liking on the track, but I've always preferred a firmer shoe on the track. In terms of fit, it locks down nice in the heel, has a nice wide toe-box, and the laces seem to grip. Set it and forget it. Great speed day training shoe and i'll keep rotating it in.
For non-elite runners this shoe will destroy your feet and ankles running more than a mile at a time. The shoe itself also falls apart incredibly fast. I strongly recommend against purchasing these shoes. Many shoes are better in every way, Vaporfly 3 for example is fast enough for a 5k and supportive enough for a marathon. Why bother with this torture device that can cripple you at a 10k distance?
I loved these shoes, very comfortable and light. Like the other reviews I’ve heard, I too have only put 52 miles on these shoes and the top of the shoe is separating from the soul. I’ve had to gorilla glue them twice already. Kind of embarrassing to be honest. I just use them on my short runs around the neighborhood now. Will not purchase these again. Sadly it makes me not want to purchase and of the super shoes Nike offers either.
I got back into shape a few years ago and have been using RR sports because of their superior customer service. I've found myself checking these out in store one day because another brand I usually wear wasn't in stock. After reading reviews online I was impressed with the 100% satisfaction mark these shoes were given. I must say when they came in I had to check to make sure shoes were actually in the box. These are so light it felt like an empty package when they came in. For something as light as these I could not get over how extremely comfortable and supportive they are. I'm not usually a Nike fan as they're shoes tend to be on the narrow side but these felt true to size. They felt like I was wearing nothing at all. After two weeks of running approximately 30 ...
