The Nikon has a long history of successful and reliable DSLR cameras that often outperform most competitors in similar class of products. D7500 is a product that offers a good mix of features for travel photography. It might not be the most trendy technology of today considering the advent of mirrorless cameras; however, it is still loaded with commonly used capabilities for an amateur and professional alike. It also offers a great compatibility with wide array of optics developed over the years, both manual and auto-focus ones. The only disappointment is the limited movement of the back panel screen: it only tilts, but does not flip out completely. This makes it a bit difficult to use in selfie mode.

My very first Nikon camera I got was a DSLR Nikon D3200 with 1 lens and that was about 8+ years ago. That camera was good during the time I was a beginner photographer and I still have it. As my passion for photography grew, I figured it was time to get another camera and upgrade to something new. After doing lots of research and investigation about what new camera to get, the DSLR Nikon D5700 with 2 lenses was the perfect fit for me and my style of photography, as well within my budget which is a plus. From the little time I’ve had it and used it, I LOVE IT SO MUCH! It was the best purchase I have ever done.

Love, love, love this camera. Upgraded from a D5000 because I wanted to be able to pull some photos from the camera to my phone for quickly sharing and I wasn’t disappointed. That was back in 2019 and even now in 2022 I have used this camera for paid gigs.-very good shots per second (I was shooting cheer so the action was fast)-Battery lasts for quite a few shots (easily can shoot 1000 shots and still have more battery to go)-Weather sealed (have shot with it in light sprinkle and it was fine. Just have to make sure the lens is WR too)Cons:-right now for only $700 more you can get a Z6 which will give you more lens at your disposal (Z & F)-single card slot (it’s not a “pro” camera so not surprising)-Remeber this is a APS-C sensor so when you switch to 4K it ... MoreLove, love, love this camera. Good image disappointing video
26 June 2022

For an enthusiast grade camera, it is nice. It's fairly well rounded for photo use. Which is what I now use it now, taking thumbnail photos and photos for canvases and merchandise. However I'm a cinematographer, and while it produces a wonderfully clear and crisp image with nice colors, the lack of a log profile on a $1000 enthusiast grade camera feels like it falls short of the mark for a camera of this price point aimed at an enthusiast crowd. Still a good camera, and great for what I use it for at the moment for photography. But that lack of a log profile definitely strikes me as odd, and very disappointing. The internal preamps are not very good, but better than some of the other Nikons I had used in the past. Nikon - D7500 DSLR 4K Camera take excellent pics
9 August 2022

I bought this camera for my Daughter's 14th birthday and she was just blown away by this particular camera as she was kind of dreaming about it. And then she was surprised when she starts taking pictures of her interest like Birds and other natures coupled with the "Nikon - AF-S DX NIKKOR 18-300mm f/3.5-6.3G ED VR Telephoto Zoom Lens". This camera has few very good features like the Manual Auto mode which could be vey helpful some time. And it takes stunning 4K videos! If you can spend around 1200, with lens total 2000$ you cannot go wrong! I would highly recommend this the Nikon D7500 camera.

Nikon D7500
11 January 2023

The camera is fabulous. Already was having fun with my D5600 but that was cut short when my wife took it and claimed it for her clinic:) With that I was able to upgrade to this D7500 and boy, I am blown away by the user-friendliness of the camera and its options and settings! A bit tough to figure out if you've made the jump from the 5600 to the 7500 but a couple youtube videos cleared it right up for me. I already have some great lenses from my previous camera and so far, the sharpness and detail of this 7500 is making differences for my shots. Seller was lightening fast and answered several of my questions post-purchase. Great camera! Great seller!

Nikon's greatest consumer level DX DSLR.
2 December 2022

Nikon's greatest consumer level DX DSLR.I have been using Nikon Cameras since film days and I own to many lenses to change to mirrorless. (not all SLR lenses are compatible with mirrorless bodies)This Camera has many similarities to Nikon's Pro D500 but for less money, it shoots fast, has a fair buffer, very good AF system for viewfinder. AF for Live View is only fair, not as good as the new Mirrorless Cameras.I have been using this Camera for over a year and still like it a lot. It only has one SD Card Slot but has never been a problem for me I use good quality cards. I feel like this Camera is a good value for the money.

Very nice camera for the price
23 October 2022

I was looking for a good camera to replace my venerable Nikon D1. It still works great and takes great pictures, but the low pixel resolution and grainy low light photos are an issue. I do, however, own some professional lenses for it that I wanted to use with a new camera. After a lot of research I settled on the D7500, for features, specs and price, as well as the ability to not purchase a new set of lenses. I am not a professional photographer by any means, but I also want quality pictures and the D7500 really delivers. My AF-S lenses work perfectly with it and after shooting 450 pictures I am seeing fantastic results. The images are amazingly crisp and clear. Colors are accurate. My AF-S lenses work perfectly with it and after shooting 450 pictures I am seeing fantastic results. The images are amazingly crisp and clear. Colors are accurate. Shooting in monochrome produces very nice contrasts and depth. The menu options are quite extensive, but it has generally not been difficult to find what I am looking for in them. What isn't obvious is a simple google search away. Nikon has mostly kept the basic controls in the same places so there was not a huge adjustment changing from the D1 to the D7500. If there's anything I am not highly enthusiastic about, it's the SnapBridge function. I have found it to be a pain to use. Personally, I prefer to put the SD card in the computer and import them that way. This is not a ding on the camera itself, if others find SnapBridge useful, then it is a good feature for the camera to have. In summary, I am very pleased with the D7500 and with the purchase from B&H, highly recommend both!

my camera needs are relatively simple...I've used a D3300 since 2006.I decided to add this D7500 now to my small kit since I prefer OVF over EVF and DSLR's are obviously headed to the scrap heap of photo history. I understand the Nikon menus and don't really want or need to learn a new system. and I just don't see that, for me, mirrorless (Nikon or otherwise) would add that much to what I do now.I think that this camera is extremely underrated and performs exceptionally well for what it is. smallish in size, good fit in my hands, great sensor.this camera will now give me 14-bit raw compared to the D3300's 12-bit raw and easier button access to some functions. and the tilting screen is killer!...I am so enjoying it.I'll move the kit lens over to the D3300 and ... Moremy camera needs are relatively simple...I've used a D3300 since 2006.I decided to add this D7500 now to my small kit since I prefer OVF over EVF and DSLR's are obviously headed to the scrap heap of photo history. upgrade on my Nikon
26 December 2021

I upgraded my Nikon from the D5200 to the D7500. I love to take nature and wildlife pictures and use a Tamron 18-400 lens for my all around picture shooting. I did put on my Nikon nifty 50 prime lens to try my first shot with this camera. Wow, I was amazed at the clarity of a simple in the house shot I took. I was hesitant to purchase the D7500 when I saw that they had dropped the megapixels to 20.9 from the 24.1 mp I had on my Nikon D5200. But I love this camera and I'm still learning where to go for some of my camera settings. I have used the WI-FI settings to send some of my shots to my cell phone and so far have had no issues. The weather has turned pretty cold here so haven't had a lot of chances to get out there and really put it to the test just yet. I am excited to see how much I can grow in my photography using this camera soon.
