Overall it's a quality product. I just feel like it could block out a little more. I did use it on a really bright sunny day in the middle of the day shooting some kids sports. I don't recommend it as a necessity. A UV filter would've worked better in my opinion in the situation I was shooting. Hind sight is always 20/20...

No surprises with my order. Lens hood fit as expected, arrived intact and in a timely manner. I will not hesitate to use B&H mail order again.
I bought this because I had lost my original lens hood while hiking. It does the job, but it's pricey for what it is. You might want to consider an aftermarket lens hood.
