Nikon Prostaff 5 Fieldscope 82 (No Eyepiece)

The PROSTAFF-5 observation telescopes are entry-level models among Nikon observation telescopes and the successors to the RA III series. The bodies of the PROSTAFF-5 observation telescopes are approx. 20% lighter than the current RA III. The newly developed zoom eyepiece minimizes chromatic aberration at the edge of the field of view and offers a large exit pupil distance for comfortable observation. Three types of eyepieces with digiscoping compatibility are available. They can be connected to many of the COOLPIX series digital compact cameras via an FSB series connection adapter. Waterproof (up to 10 minutes at a depth of 1 m) and fog-free thanks to O-ring seals and nitrogen filling of the body. Splash-proof eyepieces. A digiscoping connection is available for the three newly developed eyepieces. This allows many of the digital compact cameras in the COOLPIX series to be connected via an FSB series connection adapter.
