Coming from using mostly lower end (in comparison to the Z7II) Nikons, such as a D3500, D5000, D5300, D5500, this has been quite the upgrade. The image quality is outstanding.

Solid construction and crisp, high-resolution photos. Having been a D780 user, the learning curve for the Z 7II has been short. So far, I have used the AF-S 50mm/f1.8 and the AF-S 16-24mm/f4 lens.

It is just the right size for me. It is everything the Nikon D850 was but better. All the things I wanted to be improved I got with this new camera. The 24 - 70 is so sharp. Perfect for my needs

Be warned: This is sold as an "International Model"....meaning Nikon will not service it or repair it or handle ANY warranty work on this whatsoever in the United States and many other regions.
I really like my D850 and 24-70 f/2.8 ED VR lens, but that combination is on the heavy side, especially when traveling. The Z7II and 24-70 f/4 lens has comparable image quality, but is much smaller and more lightweight. The controls are easy to learn and adjust. The i button menu is easy to access. For AF fine tune (on Nikon F lenses with FTZ adapter) it has a wide and telephoto setting - a nice touch. I'm not sure whether the autofocus system tracks motion quite as well as the D850, but it's no slouch.I expect to take more shots once the weather warms up and I can resume traveling!
I love this camera and lens combo already - z7ii w/ 24-70 f4. A truly awesome setup. Small and rugged with amazing image quality.
I'm honestly not impressed compared to what I expected here. The Z7 IIs AF system is pretty great but the camera seems to always produce images that have a blue-ish tone and look very neutral when it comes to colors. The lens is generally sharp but shows significant blur on the outer edges of images taken of moving objects even at shutter speeds over 1-1000th of a second. If you're looking to go mirrorless I'd go with the Sony A7s. Nikon just isn't up to par. With that said. I'm keeping the camera, it has its niche uses for me.
After years of shooting with Nikon D-SLRs, I finally decided it was time to try to see if I could transition to mirrorless. After several months of trying this camera, I've pretty much reverted to using the two D500s I have used for the last several years. Don't get me wrong, the Z7II takes great photos, it's just that I have to know when I take the photo that it actually came out properly exposed. I do mostly forensic photography, including a lot of low-light visibility photos. I have no idea what the photo will look like without a reliable preview and viewfinder. Maybe someday, but this one is probably going on e-bay soon.
Cemera is great but had to return it. Nowhere in the description did it say this was an international, gray market, item and does not qualify for a NikonUSA warranty, cannot be serviced by authorized Nikon dealers and you cannot download firmware updates for it.
Moving up from a D3200 this is a huge jump in photo quality. The colors are fantastic and much more natural and the clarity and sharpness are something I didn't even know I was severely lacking until using this camera. So happy with this purchase.
