This blanket wash is excellent. Cleans even the most stubborn stains and smells good too. I have hard water so one bottle cleaned four size 78 thru 84 heavyweight turn out blankets easily. Rinses clean. Great option to save money and not have to send blankets out to be cleaned with five horses with blankets and sheets. Will use it again!

I use this EVERY spring on my horsesā blankets, before I store them. Only product on the market I can guarantee will successfully get the stench (and pee) out of the blanket.. and I use their Waterproofing to maintain the blanketās longevity.

Just wash the last blanket of the winter/spring season yesterday. Always amazed how clean Nikwax gets my dirty blankets. Really breaks up the dirt so the washer is left clean without dirt rings .

Used these products before. Easy solution to rug proofing. However I find it doesnt last as well as proofing by hand.
When directions stated to use "Cotton cycle" š¤·āāļø My machine does not have that. Saying using "hot" normal wash or something like that would help.1st use - horrible - did not work -wrong temp.2nd use worked well with hot water & blanket is rain resistant.
My blanket came really clean but I washed them with a double wash first with this, then again with rug proof for waterproof blankets. You really need both for waterproof.
I use this to launder all of my waterproof turn out rugs. It gets them super clean and doesn't hurt the waterproofing.
This cleaner really gets out all of the dirt, sweat, and grime ground into winter blankets in one washing. It also removes smells. This cleaner does not remove the waterproofing. I have been using this product for a few years now and highly recommend its use on your blankets in a commercial size washer.
I use this wash every season in my HE front loader (uses very little cleaner) and it does a fantastic job. I pre-scrub the blankets with a hard bristle brush and water to get all manure off and to get the best results from one wash. I immediately move the washed blanket to a tub of the Nikwax waterproofing agent to soak for a couple hours. I typically wash 20+ blankets a year with this.
The wash completely cleans horse blankets (and anything else: pet items, saddle pads, jackets, etc) very well. Stains and odor are completely removed (including mare urine smell). Very easy to use in the washing machine. One bottle washes several horse blankets. The wash also helps maintain water-proofing.
