I must confess I love a Ninja gadget (have the 14-1 and dual air fryer) so was thrilled to test the Ninja Creami Deluxe.All the family are ice cream lovers and my adult daughter has a minor Slushi addiction so we’ve loved putting it into action.I thought I might have trouble with it as it looks so hi tech but is so simple to follow. It might be a case of more practice is needed/trial and error but the ones we have tried so far have been mediocre at best, with one sadly going in the bin as it was inedible (it was far too powdery). My favourite ice cream is Rum and Raisin but I have found that it seems to be getting harder to get hold of hence the reason for my purchase. My wife now admits that she thought "oh just another gadget he wants" but this Ninja creami is simply amazing. The ninja creami has been used daily ever since we got it. I have made different flavours of ice cream with a vast amount of mix ins to our personal taste. I am also diabetic so I can cut back on the sugar content in what I make to make it healthier for me. In the short period of time that I have owned the creami I have made Sorbets, Slushi, ice cream, light ice cream, protein powder ice cream ( Yuk NOT for me), Frozen yogurt with fresh fruit mix in, tinned fruit frozen drinkable. I am now getting more used to what we like. The machine is very easy to use and clean afterwards. I am trying the tinned coconut milk recipe today with Bounty mix ins. Seriously the possibilities are endless. If you like Mc F**rry ice cream then you will love this ice cream. Get the taste at a fraction of the price. I agree with comments previously mentioned regarding the machine being loud, Yes it is but no more so than a mixer/blender. I have found that I need to purchase some more container tubs as it's very easy to run out when you're making a variety of different mixers. If you are considering a Ninja Creami Deluxe... Stop Considering and BUY IT...

I don't have a lot of freezer space, so I stopped using my ice cream maker where you need to freeze a large container and then let it churn.Before getting the Creami, I was making ice cream bases (mostly custard bases), freezing the mixture in ice cube trays, and then blending the cubes in my high-power blender. The results were great, but it was a huge effort and cleanup.The Ninja Creami makes making ice cream so much easier. Now I just freeze my base directly into the tub and let the Creami do its thing. The ice cream comes out a little soupy straight after processing but freezes amazingly and there are never ice crystals. It distributes the mix-ins evenly throughout, much better than doing it by hand.I've been using the frozen drinks feature almost every day. I freeze about 400ml of milk in the tub. Once the milk is frozen, I then add 30g cocoa powder, 30g icing sugar, 25g flavoured syrup (or 25g icing sugar if you want just a chocolate flavour) and 100g water straight on top of the frozen milk. No mixing is required. Then just process on the frozen drink mode and you get the best milkshake (similar to a Mcdonalds' chocolate milkshake. It makes enough for two.The paddle is easy to clean. I make sure to give it a rinse after processing to make sure nothing sticks. Then I clean it with soap and water.I bought some supermarket sorbet and reprocessed it in the Creami. It improved the texture tremendously.I’ll be experimenting with the Creami for a long time. My goal is to make the best ice cream possible for the least time and effort, and the Creami is the best tool I’ve found. Anyone can make amazing frozen treats with this machine.One thing I must state is that it is very loud. It sounds like a drill. I have ear defenders for when I need to be in the kitchen with it, or I just set it going and leave the room. ]I would recommend this machine to anyone who likes ice cream, slushies or milkshakes. It saves so much time and effort, I wish I had gotten this sooner.

I do have mine on the work top because I use it nearly every day. Depending what fruit, or ice cream you are adding or using, the taste is a non brainer. Three pots is a decent starter, but not if you have a bigger family.It is advisable to register the guarantee, doing this will protect and give us peace of mind for two years. Without registering will be one year. Not to mention if you churn/shave whole tube and not eat all, put to the freezer and then eat again after day or two ice cream again is nearly rock solid… Not like store bought ice creams. I guess machine not designed thoroughly….First ice cram was just pineapples from the tin as Gail demonstrated. No flavour at all…. Disappointing. Second I made from scratch - coconut and pear flavour. Was ok. Third one - I bought mango-passion fruit smoothie and just poured to the tube and freeze. The best one so far. I live at home with my parents, no children in the household. This would be great for a family with young children who always have a craving for ice cream. For me, I’ve used it a handful of times. Sure, it’s nice to have a creamy milkshake but the novelty wears off very quickly. It can become quite a chore, or so I found, trying to create ice cream. You can’t use something that is 0% fat, otherwise it becomes crumbly so you need to add milk or cream or cottage cheese (can’t taste it in final product). So it can be a bit of a chore to find out what eventually works. If you’re interested and able to spend time figuring it out, it’ll work great for you.I can’t score this any lower than 4 stars as it’s brilliantly made, a bit heavy but nothing to be concerned about (unless you have significantly low strength) you get 3 tubs with lids, you get a great receipt book to help. It’s a great product. But I can’t give it 5 stars, as it’s simply not for me. I find it too large to keep on my kitchen counter, but I do have a small kitchen and counter space is very valuable to me. No problem if you have a bigger kitchen. As mentioned, spending a lot of time trying to find the perfect ice cream recipe isn’t my cup of tea. When you’ve got that recipe, it works brilliantly. I made chocolate ice cream out of Angel Delight, very tasty and great consistency. My problem is I don’t have the time or patience to really experiment with anything else.If you really like ice cream, milkshakes, slushi or you have a young family or you’re really interested in creating different recipes, this is for you. I’ve attached a photo of the device, 0% fat greek yoghurt that turned out crumbly, and the Angel delight chocolate ice cream I made.
Making Ice cream is now easy! I am thoroughly enjoying the product and the results are fantastic. I am used to making gelato and know the amount of work that goes into it. With this machine, it’s up to the end user to decide. Whether you want a traditional ice-cream or just through and freeze a few ingredients together and get a very good, comparable result. I would add that this is a heavy piece of kit it weighs 7.7kgs (16.97lbs) and its height is 42cms (16 1/2"), It will fit under most kitchen cabinets but if you don't want it left out on your counter top then you really need to consider cabinet space, given the height and weight and the tubs, etc.If you are entertaining and you want to churn this with your guests present then unless they are all deaf, ear defenders would be a good idea or better still churn before they arrive and keep in the fridge, sitting the tub on an ice pack if necessary. I am a huge Ninja fan this is the 12th Ninja appliance that I have (also love their cookware and knives too). I have always been impressed by Ninja's quality and their attention to detail and how their products have evolved - ie air fryers in different sizes, multi cookers doing more with the advent of newer models but in all honesty I do not think this model will have the longevity that their other electricals do. It maybe that some of the problems lie with the instructions as it seems that these are done from memory rather than step by step. I say this because t beautifully their recipe booklets, whilst beautifully illustrated, are littered with contradicting information and/or glaring omissions.
