Our pressure pot decided not to work any longer so as usual I went to my local walmart super store to compare products. The Ninja 6.5 quart Foodi was by far the best pressure pot for the money and it came with a crisper lid as well. I have a lot of Ninja devices so it is a trusted brand that never gives me problems and I pretty much gave up looking for a better price than Walmart many years ago and you cant beat their return policy. This particular Foodi had all the features I look for in a pressure cooker and a couple Ive never seen before, such as the easy to use crisper lid and easy to read function button choices for pressure, steam, slow cook, sear/satue', air crisp, bake/roast, broil and dehydrate. With the flick of a finger you can adjust the steam release and it also has an anti-clog cap, condensation collector, and comes with the following cooking accessories: reversible rack, cook and crisp basket, detachable diffuser, the 6.5 quart removable nonstick cooking pot, crisping lid as mentioned above, heat shield and you can buy these extra addons: cook and crisp layered insert, multipurpose pan, roasting rack insert, dehydrating rack, loaf pan and crisper. In addition a cookbook, cooking cheat sheet and a well wrirren easy to understand owners manual. I had some assessories I had purchased with my former pressur pot that fit as well, like a mesh continer with a handle and a steamer. I took advantage of the Walmart extended warranty which has never let me down, although it comes with a manufacturers 1 year limited warranty. Do yourself a favor and try one of these devices, we use it about 5 days a week and clean up is a snap!

I bought the 6.5 qt version of this appliance and used it almost every other day. I would use it for pressure cooking, sear, and air crisp the most. About two days ago it randomly stopped working and I got an ERR code. I called customer service and they said I could only replace it and there was nothing else they could do. While it was running it worked great, sad that such an expensive appliance only lasted 2 years. I can see now why there is only a 1 year warranty. I also see now that they have changed design. I am sure that this is largely due to the issues with the old design.

Made my life so much easier
16 August 2022

I use my Foodi daily, and can’t imagine how I managed without one. Initially I wanted it for the flexibility of having a pressure cooker and air fryer in one appliance, as I don’t have space for separate appliances in my kitchen. The air-fryer is really good, and haven’t had any issues with the lid getting dirty on the inside. I love dehydration function, and frequently use it to dry apple slices and make semi-dried tomatoes. The slow cooker function is equally great, and all my meals have come out perfect. Bonus is the pot is really easy to clean.

Ninja 11 in 1 Multi Cooker - Best Buy
2 August 2022

The product is fabulous. It does exactly as stated in the product description. While the inner pot is roomy, and the product is extremely functional, it does not take up a lot of bench space, and prevents the need to have and store multiple other appliances. The parts are all easy to clean and store, and the accompanying booklets and cookbook make it easy to learn how to use all functions. The company also have multiple videos online that help to show you the ins and outs. The only thing to consider is when using the pressure cooker, you will want to use the appliance on a bench that does not have a cupboard directly above it, as the large amount of steam and moisture can lead to damage of cabinetry.

Now, with the Ninja Foodi! My life is complete
22 March 2023

The Ninja Foodi replaces all kitchen appliances From slow cooker, pressure cooker, air fryer & dehydrator to yoghurt maker. Yes! You read right, the Ninja Foodi also makes yoghurt, good yoghurt, that the kids eat. Let’s be honest I’m not great in the kitchen. The Ninja Foodi makes me feel like a chef, serving amazing well cooked meals. Since Hubby ordered the Ninja Foodi for me online I have cooked every meal in it even experimenting with desserts. We had an awesome night with an over sized soft cookie we shared with ice cream.

Poor quality

I am disappointed in Ninja. We have multiple Ninja products in our home as well as a vacation home. I have given Ninja products as gifts and always highly recommend Ninja products to others. 15 months ago I purchase a Ninja air fryer as a bridal gift. It quit working after 14 months of use. After speaking to 3 different agents, the only thing Ninja is willing to do is offer a replacement at 50% off since it is no longer under warranty. I feel they should stand behind their products for longer than one year for the prices they set. If I wanted to purchase a “disposable” air fryer, I would’ve purchased a different brand with a lower purchase price. All my other Ninja products have lasted for years. The ease and comfort of putting in the meat to cook while I work and provide no supervision is second to none. Used to love- now keeps censoring my reviews

Used to love it I used TO LOVE THIS MACHINE. Even got two other people to buy one. I use it about once every other week and never use metal or plastic utensils, I always use Silicone utensils. However, the pot (that you can’t use the Machine without) is scratching and putting that ceramic coating in my food. This should not happen. I’m assuming it’s happening from the accessories that came with the device: the crisp basket and the metal rack. The issue is that They should not be producing products that can’t last even a year without some sort of replacement item. I spent $250 on this and now have to spend another $24 to be able to use it at all and get another pot. It’s not safe once it starts scratching from Its own accessories. You had me at TenderCrisp.
31 May 2022

At first I was skeptical, because how can one machine claim to do so many things. Needless to say, I’m very glad I was proven wrong. Where do I start? Our first meal involved chicken wings because I wanted to see what the TenderCrisp technology was all about. This was our first test before putting in a whole chicken, but I’ll talk more about that later. Using both pressure cooking to lock in the moisture, then utilizing the crisping lid resulted in some very tasty wings! We also made burgers in it (which I wouldn’t normally do) but hey why not? And that didn’t come out super dry which was a pleasant surprise. I have to say, it’s pretty hard to overcook anything with this unit. Next up, were some golden, crispy fries that were a piece of cake to make (and all without the need for oil). The true test was cooking a whole 4lbs herb roasted chicken for Sunday dinner. Flirting with the TenderCrisp tech again, we pressure cooked first, then utilized the crisping lid to finish off the process. The result, a decently crisp skin (mind you the bird wasn’t breaded), but more importantly a juice-filled bird that was moist and flavourful through & through. I’ll categorize that as a success. Clean up is also pretty simple as all parts are easy to take out. Lastly, the relatively compact size was neither an eye sore, or a juggernaut on our kitchen counter. So far, I’m happy with our unit, and look forward to experimenting & creating more meals for our family.
